Would this machine work with hot honey? Would the dried pepper powder added to the honey affect the machine?

I assume you mean "hot" as in "spicy" - probably if you're using powder. The honey has to go through the gears, and while the manual doesn't specifically mention additives, it does say that it's a great way to bottle creamed honey (which has small crystals, maybe similar in size to the powder). If you mean temperature hot - there is a very low maximum temp for the machine, and it is meant to be used with room temperature honey.

@@SagerFamilyFarm yes spicy! I’ve been experimenting with Carolina reaper powders infused into honey and this machine looks like it would save a lot of time!

$3400 that is an awful lot of money just to put some honey in jars the best thing for warming honey in buckets is a pedestal it drops into the bucket and it's thermostatically controlled best way to warm honey $ 360.

$3400 is for the bottling machine, which is MUCH faster and more accurate than bottling by hand. My warming setup was just the heat lamp, which cost $20 or so (so cheaper than the $360 immersion heater) Plus, I actually rarely have to heat my honey, this bottling machine actually operates with room temperature honey in most cases. The reason for the bottling machine is because of the quantity of honey I process annually, when I only bottled 200 pounds a year from backyard hives, bottling by hand was no problem. Now that I bottle 2000 pounds annually, this thing is a life saver!
