1:17. See that ramp by the buffet entrance that currently has no "wet floor" sign? I busted my ass right there 4 years ago! Lol. The sign was up the rest of our trip. It was all good though, the girls all remembered it from the night prior and we laughed. I love this place. Coming back in September. Best. Milk. Ever. And I'm lactose intolerant. 😁
I stay there once , but I'm disappointed in the limited time you have on the swimming pool and the beach is not a nice place to swim other than that it was good food and customer service was great

Thanks for the feedback, there wasn’t much day activities , there is a club for adults at night time. For a better stay for the family we would recommend Hilton Rose Hall or any other family resort.
I've stayed here 2x with 3 kids and we had plenty to do, the favorite was snorkeling around the little man-made island. That's what got us to come back 😊
Montego Bay hotels rates have gotten ridiculous. Royal DeCameron and Holiday Inn places like that that are dumpy even those are $360 a night. If you want to stay somewhere nice you'll pay $700 a night. That is stupid, the island is going to loose all kinds of business
I've noticed that a lot of the all inclusive resorts outdoor pools and bars close at 5pm?! I'm a night owl and if I'm paying for the amenities, I want them to stay open late? Any suggestions?
Hi, yes most pools will due to the life guard coming off duty. However most all inclusive hotels have Bars, shows or night clubs to facilitate late night entertainment 👍🏽
I’ve been to this resort and honestly I would only recommend this resort for 1st time passport users thats not use of 5 to 4 star treatment from a resort. This is by far the worst family resort I’ve took my kids to since I got their passport in 2018. The Food is 🗑 The Amenities is 🗑 The Drinks are 🗑 I only went here bc someone highly recommended me to go here and I was highly disappointed. If your budgeting and you want that out the country then go here but if you been to 5 star resorts ALL INCLUSIVE in the past this is not the resort. Save your money and go to a nice family resort

I understand that tastes and likes will vary, even in assessment of the same thing. So, in no way will I discredit your experience. What I will add is that, although this hotel is clearly not a 5-star as is evident in its low rates (of approximately $350 U.S per night), it is nonetheless well-kept for its age - being built in 1970. Since 2000, and prior to the Covid pandemic in 2019, I traveled abroad between 3 to 5 times every year, with half those stays being in 5-star hotels (both in Europe and the Caribbean). I guess, us old and retired folks get to do this. Lol. At this particular hotel I have stayed there about 5 times, and I found it to be kid-friendly, even more so than some of the 5-stars I have stayed in Jamaica and other countries. I took my family there three - including my kindergarten and elementary school grandsons. The nanny and childcare services were great (and all included in the rates). It is also a plus that the kids' caregivers can be hired privately for their services beyond their normal work hours. We made use of that a few years ago when we stayed there. My main complaint (which quite frankly is not just at this hotel) is that the liquor is mediocre - some of the cheapest brands are used. But then again, I fully understand that the Holiday Inn Resort is not 5-star, and their rates attest to that.
I agree the resort itself is absolutely not 5 star but the island/lagoon made up for that in my opinion. My kids enjoyed snorkeling daily and the calm lagoon is perfect for little kids. You get what you pay for, this isna great budget option for families, even the ones with picky eaters! My kids still had no problem finding food to eat
There are several things wrong with this hotel, but they can be fixed. 1. The food was cold, the ackee, and other food should not be cold. 2. They need better dress code for the dining room. Women should not be entering into the dining room have naked with pubic hair showing and men should not be have naked. They need to be covered. 3. The staff need to stop being so playful and think everybody is aware of the Jamaican customs but they don’t have to be ignorant. 4. Bell boys should not be upset because they feel as though the tip you gave is not big enough, especially when people can carry their own luggage. 5. The transportation around Montego bay and other places are too expensive, they need to be cheaper. 6. This hotel need to have a shuttle traveling to and from the airport picking up people and dropping them off for free. 7. Hotel and rooms need to be renovated. 8. Poor patch jobs and repairs made two rooms. A lot of the metal in the hallways are rusty. 8. Replace the elevators because some of them in certain buildings keep breaking down. 10. They need more shady area around the pool and other places. 11. They need another hot cook making omelette/food in the morning. 12. Whoever is running, the dinning area need to be fired/replace because they kept running out of certain items like drinks, juices, etc. 13. They do not let the transportation parked directly in front of the hotel doors so in order for me to get off, I literally had to squeeze beside the bus doors and a column, that’s wrong. people should be able to get off in front of the main lobby doors, if a vehicle have a oil leak, then document the number to the vehicle and have them come back and power wash or have a staff member inside power wash. 14. To lose a Bridge station that cost $100. There’s some of the dumbest things ever and it clearly shows that it’s a money grab. 15. Start collecting the key cards at the end of the staying, I’ve never ever been to a hotel where I had to turn the key card to the room and the cards for towels. As a matter of fact, I never had to get a card to get a towel lol 😂. Some of the dumbest things ever. And don’t worry I will let IHG know about this also because this is stupid.

We did not but we don't think there is an issue, we do know that there is no room service, but they also have a jerk station as well.

Hi, check in is at 3:00pm, check out at 11:00am. you still have access to the entire hotel after check out, until leaving
