Mickey is always overthinking stuff in a series that is meant for kids XD , is not that nuance and Maul is a 1 dimensional character which works for him.
Maul has an earring because Ray Park had a fresh piercing when screen testing for The Phantom Menace and didn't want to remove it if possible so George considered it and was ok with it becoming a part of the character look moving forward.
I'd love for Eric from Blind Wave to be there for the Twin Suns episode so he can explain the significance of the events that happen in that episode if they don't fully understand it.
Sorry, there’s nothing more to Kanan’s name change in universe beyond hiding his jedi identity. Not that I’m aware of. I know this is a space opera, but not every single thing has a super dramatic backstory 😂
@@acdragonriderI knew this when I was a teenager watching this episode when it first aired and I wasn’t even a super fan. The Normies just come across as lacking media literacy. They should take notes from the Blind Wave
See he had to change his name cause unlike Obi-wan Kenobi he had a very unique name. Every mud hole backwater planet has like 20 Obi-wan Kenobis running around.
Kanan hides his identity from everyone, only Hera knows, because inquisitors exists and read minds. The Sith would have the full list of Jedi from the temple and would always be hunting everyone on the list so as long as Caleb Dume hasn't been found resources will used to hunt him even while they hunt Kanan Jarus. It could also just be a relic of how long he lied to everyone else on the crew, Kana only revealed himself to be a Jedi at the start of Rebels before that he was just a rebel and that's what the fake name was really about.
This is a great episode, with a lot of interesting new lore regarding the holocrons. Also people get upset when Leia "flew" through space with the force in the Last Jedi, but Kanan actually did a very similar thing first in this episode.
SPOILERS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm glad they got steered on the right track of Maul searching for Obi-Wan. Gotta give credit where credit is due
Maul has a piercing because in the phantom menace the orginal actor forgot to take his piercing out so it just became a canon thing that Maul has a pierced ear😅
Savage wasn't even mauls twin he was just from the same tribe. All brothers to each other. Same with the night sisters. He probably not the same genetic mother and father.

In Star Wars: The Old Republic, there is a pirate gang based on Tatooine called the Twin Suns. In Star Wars lore there is also the Black Sun and Crimson Dawn crime syndicates. To me, all these names tend to blend together and I forget which is which. So when I first saw this episode, I thought that "Twin Suns" was a reference to the syndicate that Maul would later be leading as we see in Solo. However the name of that syndicate is Crimson Dawn and "Twin Suns" is only ever mentioned in SWTOR. So this is, in fact, just a reference to Tatooine. It's not super convoluted.
Fun Fact: Maul's Ear piercing has been there for a while, and the reason he has it it's Because Ray Park (OG Darth Maul) forgot to take it away when he performed his scenes in The Phantom Menace, Lucas and the team behind the Movie realized this after the fact and decided to leave it as it is to give the character a tiny bit more of personality.
Maul doesn't know anything but the way the sith taught him. So he doesn't know how to have relationships other than master and apprentice or master and servant.

I always love how Ezra and Maul was looking for the same thing, they just didn't know it.
You saw a young jedi named Caleb Dume briefly in Tales of the Jedi episode 5.
He was watching Ashoka train in the Jedi Temple.

@KelappanKing Touche. I'm just saying I hope they don't go the default of being underwhelmed and not understanding the deeper meaning in the scenes.
Suraj watched it on his stream and his chat told him the important details (style change, moves, etc) so i think he will come in to save the day

Last time he had the high-ground, he got cut in half.

The space station made its first appearance in the Son of Dathomir comics, which is based off of an unproduced Clone Wars arc.
maul always had his ears pierced even in the movies
The fact that he mentioned two suns but ya'll still didn't get what he was after is just..

Wrong again, it's Anakin.
I mean that's always been up in the air cause of what luke does it leads to the destruction of the sith

The surface of starships or space stations generates some kinda atmosphere. So as long as you don't fly away too much, you're not gonna freeze.

Ok no way they think Savage is alive, pretty clear it was Obi-Wan.
Anakin Skywalker is the one who destroyed the sith, not Luke. Luke gave Anakin the willpower to destroy Darth Vader and Darth Sidious.
Techniclly Vader Destroys The Sith
Not Jedi mind tricks being SA, I’ll never be able to see a mind trick without thinking it.
