The 6 pedestals around the base of sealing are for what exactly? And does it need to be activated to wake and defeat the boss

you need to put seals there to lower the boss hp. and you don't need it to defeat the boss.

To think you with epic gear and trinkets got one shot is crazy, I'm still walking with green and blue gear!
I didn't upgrade my hp and yeah it still stings even with max gear

I should've watched your videos instead of brute forcing my way into this!! Eddie whoop the floor with me to defeat him, I made a bed and an echo stone near it and I was killed so many time to even count, I had to spent a whole in game day collecting my backpacks, the area was so glitched by the destruction even after Edie's defeat there are still rocks getting destroyed even now!!!!
That boss was so unfair and I was somewhat prepared, 4 in game days of constantly battling to defeat him, all my trinkets got to 0, all my gear destroyed, my upgraded bronze sword had a durability of 650/500, after the fight it was 128/500, that boss so unfair I'm daunted to even move forward in game, thanks to you I might decide to continue and fight lynd!
Edie was so unfair it's crazy, it's even crazier to think next bosses are even wilder, edie literally spawntrapped me, he knew where my bed was and continued bullying me with its laser and destruction.
I fought without the cores tho

@@manesteroffice9087 go to the plains. Demolish stone houses. You can get tons of stones that way. Snow Mountains also have a lot of stone houses.
Yeah me too I realised all I need to do was wait Eddie to throw his wrecking ball and avoid lasser through the help of walls then smash that ball with blunt damage weapons
Edie can't come near the water , just build a base inside the sea far away from him and shoot from afawr
I find it funny that they exaggerated the lives of the bosses so much that they forced the community to use unconventional means of defeating them

Just do trial and error to determine the distance where it can't teleport anymore.
@@KazeyoYT i can't do that because the poison still following u and u died immediately even u run every where i died many times because of that and it's stress me out
@@maicamariefadul9901 it can't shoot poison if you are out of range.
Not even going to lie I beat Eddie using a similar strat to your vid by glitching him bro my bronze armor was maxed out and even with fire resistance I he could one shot me like bruh I mean now he’s a cake walk but idk a couple days ago it wasn’t a joke Eddie was tough

@@KazeyoYT so for Eddie I did what you did in the first video but he kept glitching over the terrain so I put stone pillars across the top and made a pit on the side closer to me the the second wall then I built pillars 4-5 high in a circle and that trapped him somehow but it’s worked ever since and I just use a bow and he dies pretty quickly.
@@KazeyoYT but if you Aggro him while he’s in the stone pillars he will one shot the pillars down and come after you

Build an army of harfalumps (mammoths)
That worked for me (Im unofficially a harfalump General now)
Provides great shield from lasers and will attack Edie if you hit them and then lead them to him
