Ill play the game cuz i enjoy it but it wont be cuz of the event. Perk currency is effectively useless cuz u get so much any way from levelling ur characters. And the bp exp it gives is only worth if ur first...and even then it only gives u enough for 1 level
So, MrChomperYT since you have an audience would you mind reaching out to the developers and letting them know of players frustration, i wrote up some changes I think would be fantastic for the game?
I do have some feedback from players however, if that’s ok for me to share, players have been requesting a hotfix I.e 30 xp per pvp match
Regarding the recent released Top Dog Challenge players have expressed frustration over the rewards perhaps they could be changed to 3,000 Fighter Currency and/or 500 Gleamium.
In addition what do you think of the following suggestions? introducing a road map and regular arcade mode as an additional mode, and maybe a Boss Rush mode that includes some small rewards upon completion.
Lastly, plans to release any additional characters during season 1 perhaps Dexter, Samurai Jack, Bettlejuice, maybe the Powerpuff Girls? I appreciate any feedback and hopefully, you get a chance to read my message I truly enjoy Multiversus and want it to continue to be awesome with time. Thank You 😊

Honestly I feel like the Perk Currency should be replaced with Fighter Currency. Since as you said, we already have a shit ton of Perk Currency to spend.

This game had 150k players and dropped down to 10k players. Never seen anything like this in my life. WB should change its leadership. They created garabge suicide squad game and the controversial MK1 and now predatory Multiversus. 🤬🤬🤬
The crazy thing is the game just needs the slightest touch to literally stomp on every fighter game
@@MrChompeeYTthanks why I think the game can still thrive, I also think the game is built around a competitive audience and popular around tournaments and stuff, so I’m not supprised to see the player count drop, most people probably come in expectly super smash bros, and that’s just not what this is

This does sound good but PFG wouldn’t respond to character requests so that part would have to be removed
1:39 not necessarily trying to defend the event, but you can definitely catch up to people depending on who's in your bracket and if theyre constantly playing or not
That’s true but if your against fighting people that don’t stop playing it becomes a endurance fest more than skill
if you can't play during all day during the event there's 0 way you get to the top of the "leaderboard", if it was a test of ranked elo that would have been fair . well we'll see for the next top dog challenge if they fix anything toward the grind issue

Brother I work 7 days a week and am sitting pretty at the top of my leaderboard. Practice, you'll get more damage, have to play less games and you'll get up the ladder.
WB’s has to be one of the most horrible management I’ve ever seen in my life. And that’s hard to beat, with Disney being around. But man, they have no idea how to handle a live service game.

I got #1 for me and it says claim within 2 days but when it ended and i went to the event tab it already said claimed and its not in my badges do i gatta wait for that 2 days or did my game glitch and now i cant get it after all that work???

there definitely is skill based matchmaking, when i started playing on release it was chill, now every match is against people with thousands of wins on different characters and its a sweat fest
its still mainly rng you can still fight a sweat then a bot then a sweat then a noob

Today i have noticed much better players online. I actually have to pay attention to win all of a sudden lol. Which is good.. I got excited when ppl started throwing out actual combos, iad's, etc. Feels like they changed matchmaking or something, bc it was several games in a row of decent players lol
1:36 this is actually wrong you can still get number 1 placement in your leaderboard if you log in an hour before the event ends
The only way you would be able to do that is if number 1 stopped playing
@@MrChompeeYT idk how they programmed it but if you logged in on an fresh account the highest person on your leaderboard will have around 600 points

Both times I completed the event I only played for about 2 hours and got 1st and 2nd with the cap XP only going up to 11K and the guys below me weren't even at 7. It's random for everyone
I’ve spent perk currency to get the best perks for almost every character and still have a bunch left. There’s no need for it

In my bucket i am at #1 with a score of 50k at the end of first day (4x more points than #2 guy).
and i can confirm this is a bad event.
It basically comes down to how much you play, with your winrate as multiplier.

Bro I played yesterday all night because I was enjoying the game while grinding and managed to get first with 20,000 points I went to sleep for 6 hours if not less and someone passed me with 40,000

Xp is equal to damage done, it is the perfect mix of a skill and casual based event. If you get 250-350dmg you're gonna have to play 33% games than people getting minimum of 450 dmg a match.
The event is not something to complain about lol. Its probably an avg of 30 wins per 10k, the 'punishment' is not getting xp on losses.
I am very disappointed with the reward though. A banner and name color change or a character skin for top 5 wouldve been much more reasonable.
I still don’t consider damage skill since you can just pick the best characters in the game
It looks like this event promotes leaving after the first match to get the points too. Very dissapointing, the event should be called "who can play the most"

MVS should spent more time in the oven. I like it.. sometimes but mostly feel obligated to play due to getting a founders pack during beta. Outside of better netcode they didn't really do anything worthy of a rerelease. Rifts would've been it but lets be honest, its kinda trash. I might drop in when new characters release but this has been underwelming.
