The right to "keep and bear arms" does not limit the citizen on how to "keep and bear arms" nor does it limit where a citizen can "keep and bear arms". Any "constitutional carry" is less than successful if citizens are not permitted to "keep and bear arms" in every venue that is currently off limits: public schools, local, state and federal government buildings, and so on. Everywhere a government agent carries a firearm, a citizen should also be able to do the same.

Crime levels have reached the point of commonality, that decent citizens, who are fed up with rampant crime and bumbling Police, feel compelled to carry their own means of self defense.
The right to bear arms is an archaic amendment which has NO place in todays society. It was ok when before the US was created for citizens in the "Wild West" to defend themselves. Today it creates a divided country. Guns need to be in the hands of government services - Armed forces, National Guard and all police forces - NOBODY should be allowed to 'go hunting'🫣 equipped with type AR 15 automatic firearms. If the government would be serious to keep all firearms out of the hands of criminals, it would legislate the severest form of punishment to effectively control the guns. @Ministry of Mystics That's because most self-defense situations that have a gun involved don't need a shot fired for the crooks to stop - the mere sight of a gun sends them running. It's estimated that firearms are used in self-defense situations anywhere from 300,000 to 2 million times a year. As this didn't fit the anti-gun agenda, they defunded the studies. Not to mention that we have a right to own weapons and defend ourselves against criminals, both small and large. You, buddy, are an easy victim. Don't try and take our ability to defend ourselves, cause that ain't gonna be pretty. And it's better to live in dangerous freedom than a safe tyranny any day. Just ask the people in London, or France, where, despite the gun control, a French police officer was shot dead.
@Ministry of Mystics That is a really a stupid argument, in fact, it is actually a strawman argument since you changed the argument to specifically _"gunfire"_ rather than the real argument of just _"guns"_. The fact of the matter is, its impossible to really know how many lives are saved each year because of the presence of a gun that didn't end up needing to be fired. On the flip side, I've personally seen cases where people where killed by a gun that was never actually "fired". In fact, two of those cases are documented that the gun wasn't even loaded.... So loose the "fire" part because its an invalid argument. Furthermore, you do realize that statistically speaking you are more likely to be killed in your day to day life by a drunk driver than you are by a gun used by someone else but I don't hear any outcry from people calling for a law or restriction on cars in that all registered vehicles must have an ignition interlock device that is often required for people who've had DUI('s). The funny thing is, that is something the gov's ( fed and state) could easily do with zero issue because of there being no constitution right to drive a car unlike the constitutional right to keep and bar arms. That right there goes to show you that people are stupid and dont think things through before spouting their narrative and gun control is about gov fear on their part and gov control of the masses and not about "saving lives" And citation needed on that "70%" number because it sounds a lot like the "90% support universal background checks" bullshit number that has been thrown around for more than a dozen years now because of some very biased and misleading polls. You are extremely ignorant if you believe *ANY* poll that is on a very heated and divisive topic because it is *EXTREMELY EASY* to sway the results in your favor buy selective canvasing and/or misleading wording.
@Ministry of Mystics Haha, you clearly lack reading comprehension skills and dont think about your reply before you make it because your opening paragraph proved exactly what I was saying that its not about saving lives but rather about control. Lets break it down here. I said, people are supposedly afraid of being killed by a gun but dont say anything about DUI which they are more likely to be killed by and you reply, *_" you can start bleating about how drunk drivers are worse - nobody cares."_* See the problem with that first line? People dont care about whats more likely to kill them. Thats called irrational thought process. The you followed it up by saying *_"Thats like saying you dont need to help a drugs addict because its just cocaine and not heroine."_* which is in NO WAY what I was say, that in fact would be the same thing that those for gun control are doing (i.,e., caring about one thing and not the other) which further proves the point of, *_its not about saving lives, its about control_* because if it was about saving lives, they would both (Gun Violence and DUI) be being treaded the same BUT they are not! This is inarguable fact that you can NOT refute. There an old saying of Actions speak loud than words and ones actions paint the true picture of ones underlying agenda / motive. Then there's this: *_"And like I told you guys 2 times before up in the comments - i am against removing guns or restricting them from possession..."_* Oh!!! because this isn't the internet or anything and surely there is no lying trolls on here just trying to infiltrate their opponent to try to sway them!!! SMH... Not necessarily saying that you are BUT you have to understand that when you start off with your first comment with *_" Even though I agree, there is more people dying by gunfire tuam being saved by it. Thats why they restrict it. Biden can no longer ignore that fact since 70% of that country no longer feels safe in their own country"_* You're going to be met with skepticism of your true intentions, especially when you changed the scenario to specifically gunfire rather than just guns thus making it an apples to oranges comparison when the real issue is lives taken vs saved and as I and others pointed out to you, a gun saving a life doesn't always require firing said gun. Its like you did that intentionally to make it a harder to refute argument but its a stawman so again, you shouldn't be surprised by being met with skepticism. Oh and I'm still waiting for the "70%" citation or evidence by the way. Now if you really want to discuss the really problem here, we should be talking about the real root problem that accounts for the vast majority of the gun violence problem in America which is social economic disparity. Talking about guns is like a doctor telling you to just take some pain meds for the headaches that seem abnormal rather than investigating the root cause of why you keep getting abnormal headaches and treating that root cause. Symptoms are a result of an aliment That is the problem, the government (especially the left) doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that the real problem is social economic disparity in fact, they are in many ways doing things to make it worse, not better. Remember, a gun is just a tool and something is driving those who want to use that tool in ways that it should not be used (i.e., unjustified homicide). If we want to do something about the 10 to 15k gun related murders that occur each year (and the other gun violence that doesn't result in the victim dying), then we need to address the root cause of the problem, not the symptom (or in the medical terminology, "treat the ailment, not the symptom"). Here is a perfect example of its about "Control" and not about "saving lives" when it comes to government involvement on guns and laws. From the DOJ with their new proposal on "ghost gun" restrictions. *_"From 2016 to 2020, more than 23,000 un-serialized firearms were reported to have been recovered by law enforcement from potential crime scenes -- including in connection with 325 homicides or attempted homicides."_* What they dont tell you is that the vast majority of those guns were stolen gun that had the serial numbers removed and NOT the "ghost guns" that they are meaning (i.e., 80% receivers). Everything the Anti-gun crowd does will have ZERO effect on the actual gun violence and those who propose the rules and restrictions know it and yet they still do it because their intent is not about save lives and all their supporters who buy the lie of it being to save lives are just too stupid and naive to realize that their people (gov officials) are just trying to keep (or gain) their vote through the means of false sense of security. Now if you are really pro-gun and anti-restriction and care about saving lives as you suggest, then start speaking out against the real underlying cause of the violence. A good starting point is to try to get those that you know who vote in these politicians to understand the root cause of the gun violence and start voting in those who understand that and want to actually address those issues like stopping the incentivization of living off the government and monthly checks from them, etc.... and start incentivizing people to want to go out and better themselves and their families. Here's more food for thought when it comes to people "supposedly" being afraid and why I have skepticism of where you are really pro-gun and anti-restriction.... If your "70%" claim is in fact true, then we have a a very large majority of people in this country who have be falsely guided into their fear. In the early 90's (Peak in 1991), violent crime (Armed robbery, Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Murder) was more than twice as high as it is today. www.statista.com/statistics/191219/reported-violent-crime-rate-in-the-usa-since-1990/ Now yes, that is overall violent crime BUT even just murder alone was pretty much the same rate of drop (9.8 per 100k in 1991 vs 5.0 per 100k in 2019). Now that is just murder which can be other things besides guns but even gun murders are down significantly compared to their peak in 1993. www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2013/05/07/gun-homicide-rate-down-49-since-1993-peak-public-unaware/ *So either you are full of shit with your comment about 70% and you are a anti-gun troll OR we have a nation of people who have been mislead into fear by media outlets (most of which are left leaning or flat out liberal left) that are helping to further the governments real underlying agenda of "control" because even there own data shows that we do NOT have a gun problem in this country.* *EDIT:* Fixed a couple of the formatting issues

It is important to note the amendment does not mention regulated arms. It mentions regulated militias. People keep the arms. It is equally important to note that "well regulated" does not mean what most modern readers think it means. The right to bear arms is an archaic amendment which has NO place in todays society. It was ok when before the US was created for citizens in the "Wild West" to defend themselves. Today it creates a divided country. Guns need to be in the hands of government services - Armed forces, National Guard and all police forces -
NOBODY should be allowed to 'go hunting'🫣 equipped with type AR 15 automatic firearms.
That right there goes to show you that people are stupid and dont think things through before spouting their narrative and gun control is about gov fear on their part and gov control of the masses and not about "saving lives"
And citation needed on that "70%" number because it sounds a lot like the "90% support universal background checks" bullshit number that has been thrown around for more than a dozen years now because of some very biased and misleading polls.
I said, people are supposedly afraid of being killed by a gun but dont say anything about DUI which they are more likely to be killed by and you reply, *_" you can start bleating about how drunk drivers are worse - nobody cares."_*
See the problem with that first line?
Then there's this: *_"And like I told you guys 2 times before up in the comments - i am against removing guns or restricting them from possession..."_*
Oh!!! because this isn't the internet or anything and surely there is no lying trolls on here just trying to infiltrate their opponent to try to sway them!!! SMH...
Not necessarily saying that you are BUT you have to understand that when you start off with your first comment with
*_" Even though I agree, there is more people dying by gunfire tuam being saved by it. Thats why they restrict it. Biden can no longer ignore that fact since 70% of that country no longer feels safe in their own country"_*
You're going to be met with skepticism of your true intentions, especially when you changed the scenario to specifically gunfire rather than just guns thus making it an apples to oranges comparison when the real issue is lives taken vs saved and as I and others pointed out to you, a gun saving a life doesn't always require firing said gun.
Symptoms are a result of an aliment
That is the problem, the government (especially the left) doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that the real problem is social economic disparity in fact, they are in many ways doing things to make it worse, not better.
*_"From 2016 to 2020, more than 23,000 un-serialized firearms were reported to have been recovered by law enforcement from potential crime scenes -- including in connection with 325 homicides or attempted homicides."_*
What they dont tell you is that the vast majority of those guns were stolen gun that had the serial numbers removed and NOT the "ghost guns" that they are meaning (i.e., 80% receivers).
In the early 90's (Peak in 1991), violent crime (Armed robbery, Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Murder) was more than twice as high as it is today.
www.statista.com/statistics/191219/reported-violent-crime-rate-in-the-usa-since-1990/
Now yes, that is overall violent crime BUT even just murder alone was pretty much the same rate of drop (9.8 per 100k in 1991 vs 5.0 per 100k in 2019). Now that is just murder which can be other things besides guns but even gun murders are down significantly compared to their peak in 1993.
www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2013/05/07/gun-homicide-rate-down-49-since-1993-peak-public-unaware/
*So either you are full of shit with your comment about 70% and you are a anti-gun troll OR we have a nation of people who have been mislead into fear by media outlets (most of which are left leaning or flat out liberal left) that are helping to further the governments real underlying agenda of "control" because even there own data shows that we do NOT have a gun problem in this country.*
