It wasn't a good move. That crazy riff in the beginning is perfect to get a big pop... it's so identifiable to Dean. It's like the glass smash...u just associate that sound with stone cold. The quickly ascending guitar riff is similar. The siren does not have the same effect because it's too generic.
It still amazes me how Ambrose didn't win the Royal Rumble when he was the most popular guy on the roster (still is IMO). Him winning the title from Brock and then having Seth cash in on him would've been the perfect progression of their feud.
I'm a Roman Reigns fan (hope he becomes champ at SS), but Ambrose was the right guy at that time.

Dean Ambrose is like a mixture of The Rock and Mick Foley when it comes to entertaining and hardcore matches. I really hope he doesn't get buried by John Cena. That would be the flagship / confirmation of WWE not really caring about what we want.

You clearly didn't see Raw. Ambrose beat Cena. It may have not been by pinfall or submission but he still beat him. Plus they are pushing Ambrose. We just don't know yet up to where. If Reigns returns, then I don't see Ambrose getting the title any time soon. But if Reigns doesn't return then we might just see Ambrose fill in for Reigns at Mania to take the title. Just a hypothesis.
