    The people I watch normally dye hanks, so I think you’re the first person I have watched dye a finished product. Your hate and yarn mop turned out good. I was thinking as you didn’t pre soak the yarn mop the remaining colour would mainly strike outside the ball and not penetrate the inside it evenly, but the cake at the end looked good. I enjoyed watch this 👍🏼

    This was very cool. Thank you so much for the info. I didn't really know the technical aspects involved in the process of dyeing. This was very interesting. Thanks.

    Gorgeous dye job. Thrilled to see you can dye yarn that isn’t loose but still in a ball. So much easier.

    Does the food color wash off?

    • @SpiffyHandmade
      @SpiffyHandmade  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jen! The food color does not wash off since I used vinegar and heat set it for four minutes in the microwave. This makes the color stay in the yarn. Thanks for watching!

    What is in the pre-soak bath? Just water, also vinegar or something else?

    • @SpiffyHandmade

      Hi G Chaney! I did pre-soak with water only. Thank you for asking. I appreciate your question and I appreciate you watching!
