Imagine what the blued Python would look like after a decade of daily carry and tens of thousands of rounds. It wouldn't look worse, it would just add layers of character to an already stunning design.
Life is too short to not pew pew every gun you get your hands on.
"You don't get yesterday back & you can't buy a minute "
No fire arm should ever be a safe queen!
NEVER buy a gun you can't shoot
Beautiful revolver. Cheesy grips, but you've already taken care of that. For my money, not shooting a highly desirable pistol, is like marrying the prettiest girl in town, then bragging to your compadres that you've never even kissed her.
Ain't no gun too precious to shoot. I wouldn't own a gun I couldn't shoot.
Colt revolvers are second to none. I've invested in several of the reissued snake guns, including that one. They have all performed flawlessly, and the beauty of each model speaks for itself.
Uuuhyaaaaahhh! There are 3 vents! So that was the jolt I felt when the world stopped turning.
OMG look at that...im fkn jelly
1:53 Jango needs to be unchained
He is...that is why the Amazon guy wouldn't get out of his car.
I won’t spend my limited funds on a gun I never intend to use.
You can get a non firing replica for that.
And why would you want to get a non firing replica ? It’s like getting a stuffed animal instead of a real one haha if you don’t understand this channel then bounce !
Just got mine, absolutely stunning!!!
I was kinda expecting a possum claw to grab his new gun there for a second at 2:00. 😅
Are you implying Django would conspire with the possums to set me up?
Why I'd never! I just thought he was trying to chase it off or at least warn you.
Deputy Django is a stand up fella. 😊
@@whelper4231LOL!!! That’s funny right there. The possum may not have shown up….. but I will tell ya, that there view at the two minute mark makes one hell of a wallpaper for the ol computer!!!!
@@johnkeisterelquattro2553 It is a fine looking gun! 🤩
I love the three vents, that’s why I bought a blued one.
The 3 ventilated ribs instead of the traditional 2 for the 4 inch is a total miss. Rear sight is trash is front sight is OK art best BUT I'm still a fan
That is a purdy gun! When I think that for $50 more, I could have had that revolver instead of the CZ Compact Shadow 2. I do love the CZ, though. Well, I know what I am buying next time!
Beautiful handgun. I once held the stainless version of that gun. It was priced at about $1,500.00. I could only imagine how much of a quandary if I had bought it. Could I use it for everyday carry, or use it as a decorative item in a home office? It’s looks too good for shooting. And chambered in.357 magnum/.38 special, it only adds more value.
I got a 6" stainless for the neat sum of 2.900,- USD,- here in Denmark. Don't complain😆
Resist the urge as it is a real beauty. I am jealous.
That's something you use.
I’ve got a set of lever actions that have never been fired and I’ll never own another firearm that I won’t or shouldn’t shoot. Haven’t gotten rid of them yet only because my Dad gave them to me but he told do whatever with them so sooner or later……
A very beautiful revolver, Sir.
I installed ivory grips on mine and I love the way it looks.
Bought mine back in the 80s. Planned on using it for deep thick brush for deer hunting. Doesn’t get any easier that to put it in your pocket and hit the brush. Just think Two Free Hands while traveling in the briars. Sometimes you even get within a few feet before you see each other. The 357 will get the job done. Getting it out is another matter. Ah the joy and the horrors of deep brush hunting. Not for the timid.
Another TH-camr has been shooting his 6 inch. He said it's been holding up well. Not even a turn-ring.
good looking revolver
exaggeratedly beautiful
That little orange cylinder thing is a combination FLAG and can be used to protect during DRY FIRE!
I only have a couple of pieces in my collection that don't get shot and that's because they are vintage heirloom guns that are over 100 years old. As for everything else, I'm of the opinion that if you don't shoot the gun, someday somebody else will, and a gun like a Python is too expensive to let someone else get the joy out of shooting it first. Also, the 3 vents on the new 4.25" blue Python (but not on the stainless?) are growing on me but I still prefer the 2 vents. Colt made mention of taking a styling queue from the King Cobra Target while promoting it. If anything, the KCT should have taken its queues from the Python. Has anyone ever looked at an original 4" Python and thought something just didn't look right? Hell no. Anyway, my two cents.
I got a 669 at my DK... It's jelly also
a real beauty enjoy
You have another 4.25" Python... so it's not "necessary" to shoot it.
If it was your only one, Hell yes.
But it isn't so up to you
Very nice looking revolver!
How about The Count, from the Muppets, counting the vents on a Python for a T-Shirt?
nice but i like stainless.
If you scan the QR code on the little blue tag you cut off the trigger guard it will give you the actual day your Python was made.
You got other pythons, keep it as a show piece!
Almost good looking without the beard. 😅
But the Python is really beautiful
Now they just have to make a blued one with an unfluted cylinder and it will be PERFECTION!!!
I need one of those.
That is a really pretty revolver.
Stupid question: is it a .357 mag?
"This guy" ...that keeps buying guns. ?? Like that? I would be jelly.
Stunning
Man, that is a gorgeous gun.
She’s a beaut
I'm wondering where your guns will go when you die 🤷♀
That's a nice looking revolver. But what happened to the face?
Are you going to really make it a, “safe Queen!”
Time to make that weapon function as it was designed to be. Have fun!
It’s not ugly
Bought the 4.25 Matte for $400 less than the new blue. If I must have a blued 4.25 I'd rather blue it myself or use a damn Sharpie.
It's a tool. All that joking aside, no complaints on the new Pythons outside of the price milking for the blued model.
You have other Pythons you can shoot. Don't shoot this one. It is steel and wood and a piece of art. Uncluttered elegance.
Dude, where’s your going to town beard?
In the bathroom sink.
@@dancruze My beard absorbed Yankee's beard? I mean, I'd like Yank's pubes on my face as much as the next guy, but I don't know about this one? 😅😂🤣
MSRP Please.
Nice
Don't shoot lol
I wouldn''t shoot it, ONLY because you have other Pythons. It's going to shoot just like them so you know what you'll get. Might as well just keep this one pristine and new for your collection.
I was going to get one after seeing the Shot Show videos, but some of those prototype ones only had the two vents and that is what I wanted. The production blue 4 inch revolvers look goofy with the three vents. I am not going to pay $1500 for a firearm that looks ugly. I lost all interest after that. If they do a two vent blue, I am back in. It looks out of proportion now.
Fantastica 💪👏👏
Why do you buy a gun if not to shoot it? Guns are artwork sometimes, some are culture and examples of extreme genius, some are artifacts of bravery and valor. If you think the gun is going to be an investment, then preserve it for you sons or daughters to sell off at auction in the future when you are taking your long sleep. I think that guns generally go up in value, but mostly only ones that hold some historic value and fascination in the public eye. Eisenhauer's Winchester Model 12 and his Model 70 bolt action presented to him when he retired come to mind, but so do some others such as Wild Bill Hickok or Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, Alin York and a few other icons of your American Heritage. Are you going to have it in a museum? Other than that, why would you even consider it?
New yes old stock new not much as value still up on those
Is it blued stainless steel, or blued carbon steel,?
Definitely carbon steel.
I can’t imagine you would tongue kiss a High Point.
How can anyone even begin to think, let alone say publicly, that Colt doesn’t make a good revolver??? They have been in the revolver business since the beginning……. How can they NOT make a good revolver???
Technically these are Colt in name only. CZ is a Czech company making these revolvers similar to original Colt designs. CZ is better known for semi automatic pistols & military weapons. Glad someone is keeping the Colt name & legacy alive.
@@woodybowen5362 well true, but still, my statement still stands. Before CZ took over, they made great wheel guns. And now that CZ took over, they are still making good wheel guns.
😍
guns are made to be shot not drooled over a gun not being shot is fucking worthless!!!!
That’s total bullshit.
@@TheYankeeMarshal to you!! i don't collect in that sense i buy to shoot!! to me a 17,000 plus dollar safe queen that is never shot or taken out because it might get scratched and lose some value is completely worthless to me!!!
If it isn't shot it's not a firearm. But it's your $1400, so do (or don't) whatever you want.
If you do shoot it, let us know if the sights stay aligned. I have heard the new ones have that issue after a few shots.
They won't stay aligned. The rear sight on the new Pythons is terrible. Fortunately, Wilson Combat came to the rescue and designed a replacement that is excellent. They make replacement front sights too, brass bead and whatnot. The rear sights are the *only* thing wrong with these new Pythons. They are fantastic guns in my experience.
@@ObscureImages I was hoping they fixed that issue with the blued models.
Yank, cool gun, you get a face lift you look twenty years younger
hi my name is gun and I'm an addict
Colts a bankrupt company. Fooogeettaa bout it
This isn't 2011. They got purchased by CZ in 2021. Their revolvers are selling like crazy.
Fair enough. CZ solid. Making a comback
Yankee this is bugging me. What kind of car are you driving?
I was wondering the same thing. I think it's a Camaro.
2023 Camaro 2SS
That looks great, but get it dirty! It'll make up for your clean chin!
If you’re not gonna sell it , why wouldn’t you fire it ? Just my opinion. Great purchase.
Good BBQ gun with a nice holster
Should have gotten the 92gts
