- Boss Fight Walkthrough for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled + Ending. Turtles in Time Re-Shelled is a side scrolling beat 'em up. Players control the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Donatello, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, and Raphael. Each playable character has his own strengths and weaknesses. Up to four players can play simultaneously, and can play any combination of local and online multiplayer. Players are given a basic control setup, with jump, attack, and special attack buttons in addition to movement. Certain button combinations can execute special moves, such as a sprint, dash attack, or special attack. New to the remake is the ability to attack in eight directions, as opposed to the two directions of the original version.
The game was available on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Note for people in the comments, this game is a remake of the arcade original not the SNES version. Therefore, there's stuff that were in the SNES version that are not in this version, such as a few of the bosses (Slash, Rat King, Bebop and Rocksteady), and a couple levels.
Yeah cuz I played the snes version and I watched this and thought Tokka and razar were earlier
Especially regarding Shredder's AI during the final boss fight
This game deserves another release. I remember everyone hated this game but when I played it, I thought it wasn’t as bad as people say it is.
I could say the same, but the originals are just way better on a very large scale, which makes this remake look like shit. I dunno, prolly just me.

@@brandoncutler09 it’s meant to be a remastered version of the ARCADE version, which isn’t as good as the SNES version.
I used to play this game all the time when I was a kid. It would be nice if they had an extended mode where you could play the snes levels as well. It would've been funny to see bebop and rocksteady in pirate costumes with the new art style.

Funny thing about this game. Unlike the original version, they actually used voice acting from the cartoon series. Of course, the thing is, it's from the 2k3 cartoon and most of the 80's cartoon characters didn't show up or were completely different. Leatherhead was a good guy for one, and Baxter never made it to mutant fly. Eyeball in a jar, yes. Melting, rotting, clone flesh yes. But never a fly. At least you didn't have an intern who couldn't act as April saying "the ark villain, Shredder."

Will probably not happen since Ubisoft made this game, so chances are Viacom will have to negotiate with them for a re-release similar to Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.
...Honestly, I don't see why everyone was so angry about this. It doesn't look that bad.
Of course I would need to play it to know for sure, but still.
The omni-directional movement is kinda what people complain about. You can attack in any direction but so can the enemies. If they made it a strict 2D left-right movement game people would probably have complained less. I don't mind really mind it though. I think they also made the characters move a bit to fast.
SNES Version of TMNT: Turtles in Tme was played better with extra stage "Technodrome ~ Let's Kick Shell!", Slash Boss, Rat King Boss, Shredder's Battletank Boss and Bebop and Rocksteady!!!

This should have been a reboot of the SNES version. There were better bosses there.
In fact, it is pretty much the reboot of the original arcade release of Turtles in Time.

I wish they re-released this remaster. It was the version I played growing up and I miss playing it with friends. At least the original version will be in the Cowabunga collection.

That was the bummer for me. Completely different soundtrack all because of copyrights.

There are a few things I preferred in the home console version over the arcade version.
First, because I have no idea who he is, Cement Man is kind of a weird pick for a boss. Sure, he looks like he belongs there, but the console version using the evil and savage Slash instead makes more sense to me.
Second, I prefer Pirate Bebop and Rocksteady over Tokka and Rahzar aboard the ship. Don't get me wrong, though. I loved the movies too, and the *other* gruesome twosome were bosses in the Technodrome level.
Both versions had Leatherhead as a boss, but he seems a bit small in this game.
Cement Man was in one of the early TMNT cartoons when Baxter was still human. Baxter had some alien helmet/jewel/thing that could alter or animate things. One of the things he created was a giant blob creature. Konami was obviously searching for bad guys from the show they could use and must have been running out of interesting new villains to use and chose the blob creature. It never spoke in the show and never appeared again.
@@ENiceGeo I'm gonna be honest, I watched that show as a kid and I don't remember the episode. Not doubting you, just noting that that is OBSCURE. Slash had more attention to 'im, though. That's why he works.

Looks good but I wanted slash in the prehistoric stage, bebop and rocksteady as pirates, rat king in the sewers, and the technodrone with taka and razar.

As I remembered, when I've played in my SNES simulator, I have to fought Tokka & Rahzar in the third level (lab level) and instead I fought Bebop & Rockstead. In the jurassic leve I didn't fought Cement Man, but a mutaded monster turtle whose name I forgot, and there's a sewer level (level 2) I fought Rat King or King Rat idk the order.
Slash instead Cement man, and snes version have more exclusive characters from the show, than even arcade version

This is based off the arcade game. The SNES version had many more bosses, and extra levels.

The music on this is not very good. Especially the boss music. I also thought the background art was lousy. Look at that giant rock during the Cement Man fight. That's supposed to be Shredder's head carved in to the mountain. Can't tell, can you? And where was Leatherhead's hat???

They took the chaotic yet funny boss fights from the Arcade version and turned them into a fest of total boredom. This game NEVER needed an 8-way attack system, and Dotemu knew it, that's why "Shredder's Revenge" will be better than this
Obviously shredder's revenge would be better. Even if this game was the best of tmnt I think shredder's revenge would've been equally as good. I mean it's original arcade tmnt remade with in beautiful quality

Cement Man was a blob creature created by Baxter Stockman, when he was still human, in one of the early TMNT cartoons.
This game wasnt a good as the snes version. I had high hopes for this game when it came out. Big let down

Well it was meant to be Arcade because thats what Xbox 360 and PS3 were remaking at the time. Xbox Live Arcade had a bunch of arcade classics.

Disappointing they had based it on the arcade version rather than the SNES version which was better. Also, I hate the new character styles where the turtles have no eyes, no snout and instead have flat faces and cylindrical heads...
I wish this was on the PS4. I don’t have a PS5 like everyone wants nowadays, just a PS4, and PS5’s are too pricey and the controllers too hard to hold. No offense.

Defenders of the game will always say "it was based off the arcade version" and that's true, but...I just don't see it as much of a defense, I guess. I mean, they changed music and graphics, so it's not like they were aiming for a 100% faithful arcade port. And the fact that they expanded upon this game back on the SNES, and those additions were almost universally seen as positives, but they couldn't retain those additions on the Live Arcade just feels a bit lackluster.
Who has ever said that was a defense? I thought the point of noting that is to EXPLAIN to others who don't know why the SNES stuff isn't here.
I don't think anybody would be opposed to that stuff being here, but it's not, and the reason why is pretty clear, seems to be pretty simple business.

The sewer level is still here, and the Techno Drome level, unlike the sewer, is exclusive to the SNES version, and Re-Shelled is based on the Arcade version.
Dont confuse the versions. That what you said is from snes version, you face with Super shredder. This is the remake from the arcade version.
