this story started out great, then it started jumping all over one minute their is two the next their is four with no idea how the neighbor got into the picture. I like the voice but the story is to janky

Whole chunks of the story is just flat out missing. Chapter 4 trapped in a maintenance shed on the roof surrounded by zombies no way out. Chapter 5 back at the apartment with a whole new character and somehow set traps throughout the building.

Not very good writing. Filled with lots of cliches', without any substance. the narration is not very logical. And a lot of facts make no sense. Why search the apt for supplies? The person who lives in the apt is part of this group, he would know where everything is. And water? until the taps stop running, it is plentiful. Fill containers. Why go to the roof? There you are trapped, and you have no shelter. It would make more sense to get out of the building entirely.
The writing is choppy and the narration leaves things out. At one point, the group is trapped on the roof with no way out---and then suddenly, in the very next chapter, they are all back in apt. 22, with no explanation as to how they got there. And there are extra people in the group, with no explanation as to where they came from. This happens more than once: when they are back from the roof, they have a couple of new people, and then later in the story, the group has increased again, and again with no explanation as to where the new people are coming from.
There is no mention of the passing of time. Is the zombie outbreak only a few hours old, or a few days? The supposed "tension" between the group members is hollow, with nothing to show its development. There is no discussion between group members as to what is going on. Their world has suddenly fallen apart, and no body even talks about what is happening?
While I cannot be sure, I think this story is IA generated, not written by a person. It has all the earmarks of a story written by AI. AI takes all the cliche's of a zombie outbreak story, with random characters and jumbles it all together, with no real feeling of telling a narrative tale. . It does not make for a good story.
It's disappointing. I was looking forward to listening to a new series of zombie stories, but AI stories are only frustrating.
So much potential but so many unanswered questions… mainly how the hell did they… get off the roof, find Amara, get back to the apartment?

Thank you for the feedback, Tis story got a little messed up from being written during a span of time and to be honest, i didint due my job and double check the story of flow, I plan on doing a rewrite of it soon, but i figured, if the asylum movie company can make movies that make zero sense, ill just leave this up for people to listen to and hopfully enjoy some parts of it.
