    Nice, but I am so shocked that it is true that NOBODY writes in cursive anymore!

      Cursive has had to take a backseat in education because of how far behind most students and schools are. We have to teach more than can be absorbed in a day to get through every standard. Then there is not enough time to ensure that every student has mastered it before you have to move on. I was the only 2nd-grade class that did not learn cursive, I graduated in 2020 so that was like 2010. In 8th grade I fell behind in my English class because we HAD to complete the bellwork in cursive, I can't remember any of what I learned in bellwork, because I didn't learn.
