Gladly subbing your channel. Found ya in BYR Fb page, which I joined a couple weeks ago, and am a rookie backyard rinker this season. Had no idea what was involved in making a BYR and thought it would be a piece of cake..nope! I, too, ordered a complete rink pkg from NiceRinks, and am impatiently waiting to drop a liner and flood in the coming days here in northern NY. I'm impressed with your video making abilities and look forward to following your story here. Keep the vids coming! ;)
Hey great video, if you see this I have a quick question in regards to how you flood with a slope? Did you fill it all up at once so you basically had 13" of free standing water then let it freeze till water does not rush up the side or did you fill the low end first let that freeze then fill more?
Sorry for the late response, did it all at once: th-cam.com/video/pqHXcmzX3qs/w-d-xo.html Don't fill in layers, new water will run under the ice and float it up and risk ripping your liner.
You might only have a very little amount of subscribers, but atleast almost all of them hit the like button in like other TH-camrs that have a lot but not many likes!( I subbed and liked :)

Thanks for your videos! What brand level did you purchase? These seem to range in price from $70-$150+ so I’m curious how much you spent. Thanks!
Bosch. It was on sale for $40 I think at the time.
@@TheLaterSkater thank you!
