season 1 was heavy to the fact that Ander and Omar were shackled by their families and cant do what they want as lovers. Season 2 deals with Omar's disownment from his parents for being gay, dealing with Ander's internalized homophobia, cheating with Polo, and covering for Marina's murder by Polo. Season 3 tackles Ander's cancer, and Omar's cheating with Malick. This couple can't get to breathe, can't they? Hopefully season 4 won't tear them apart again.
