I bought a carbon 2.0 Pole, if I want to cut off 3-4 inches, should I cut it from the top or bottom

I wouldn’t go as far as to say Dpoles are extremely durable because I have broken 3 shafts in 3 years and 1 year I broke 2 sticks the first time mine bent then I broke one on a cross check then my last one someone fell on it in a ground ball scrum

If you really want to test the durability of a shaft give it to me for a couple games we will see if it breaks I broke one dragonfly 9 in one game
