- I made this video at the request of my subscribers. At the point of filming I already decorated 2 rooms in my dollhouse so what you are going to see int his video is all the other decorations and many will soon be in my dollhouse. I hope you enjoy going through everything with me!

Take care,
I love seeing all your doll Christmas decorations!! I choked on my pretzel when you said you could kick yourself in the ass for not buying more of those Merry Christmas pillows from Target! 😜😂😂 I actually have that same pillow and bought it either last year or the year before (I haven’t been buying Christmas things for the doll house that long). The Madame Alexander figure you had in one of the last boxes is actually a Hallmark ornament. They did a series of Madame Alexander dolls. I have that one and about 10 others. I love your creativity and energy!! I used to commute 62 miles each way to work (it took me an hour to an hour 1/2) for 6 years. I used to get so much more done than I do now. I’m currently unemployed (contemplating retiring) and sit on my butt most of the day. I don’t know how I did the many things I did back then. I marvel at you and at my former self. I think I accomplished more out of necessity. Thanks for sharing all your treasures and Merry Christmas!! 🎄
Hi Patty ~ oh my goodness I don’t even know how I missed this comment. TH-cam has changed the format of things in the app creators use, and I’m still finding my way around and lose track of things. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing all my Christmas decorations. God bless you for sticking around for that because that was a long ass video lol. It was fun for me because I don’t have anybody to talk to about my doll stuff and I would’ve never thought to do such a video until it was requested. My youngest daughter will engage with me about dolls and all my Doll stuff but unfortunately she’s in college so she’s not home that often and when she’s home, I don’t want to monopolize her time hanging out with mom having doll conversations and setting up doll scenes. My oldest daughter who is 26 has zero interest in dolls, even though I do talk to her about it sometimes she quickly walks away from me.
That’s funny, although not so funny that you almost choked on your pretzel when I spoke about that pillow. Keep me in mind if you ever decide to sell it.
OMG - you “get” the whole commuting situation. I do it because I truly enjoy my job and being in a leadership role is what I enjoy most. Although only 4% of my team is in the office and the rest all work remotely. My company wants me in the office even though there’s only 4% of my people in the office so that’s what it will be. Retiring sounds glorious! I have a ways to go before I can even entertain those thoughts, but I’m so glad you are thinking about it. My boss is retiring this month and he’s only 60 years old and a couple of my friends retired at the end of last year and I find it very interesting that I’m at the stage of my life where people are actually retiring. Oh, by the way, I find it takes me a lot longer to get things done these days then it did years ago. I’m so much more slower at doing anything and sometimes I think I’m just living in the moment and enjoying myself more. Because as you said we did more years ago out of necessity and I think I just raced through the motions to get get things done - hustle to work, to daycare/school, taking my kids to events, and whatever the heck else I did, I can’t even fathom doing all of that anymore. I hope you’re having a good week! 🥰💐
What a great collection of Christmas miniatures! I like the idea of showing the dolls decorating the tree with the boxes of baubles beside them. I was doing chores while listening to you. Merry Christmas Jo!☃️🎄🫶🏻
@@CherishedDollFriends thank you Cheryl! By the way, your hair looked fabulous in your Christmas present opening video. You inspired me to get layers in my hair. Merry Christmas! 🎄 🥰
Aww thank you Jo for the nice compliment! As I get older I struggle with my hair. Layers help bring out the curl but it tends to get thin and wispy on the ends. I have very fine hair. Let me know how it turns out if you do and Merry Christmas! ☺️🎄☃️
Wow, what an amazing collection of holiday decorations for the dollhouse. I can't believe how many mini doll sized items you have.
Thanks, it was so much fun to decorate this year - well, who am I kidding - every year lol 😊🎄
Amazing collection. ❤
@@JesselG73 thank you so much!! 🎄🥰
Wonderful collection of Christmas items for your dolls. My favorite was the Christmas tree that lighted up along with cardinal lighted snow globe ornament.
@@TeresaMinsinger thanks so much! Yeah those are super cute. I put the cardinal light up ornament on my dolls living room mantel. You most likely noticed it since you watched my house tour video ☺️🎄
Love all this! Thank you for sharing this with us! 😊
@@clairewatkins1720 I’m so glad you enjoyed it! ☺️🎄

thank you so much for taking the time to show us all your stuff!! i loved seeing ALL of it ‘& hearing you where u got all of it!!!
Awe thanks so much! You bet! I love sharing my dolly collection! 🥰
It is so much fun shopping for things that can be repurposed for dollhouse scenes. I enjoyed seeing your collection! ❤ (I don’t mind the larger cards. Sometimes newer AG and OG accessory proportions seem off to me. They are way too small. The vintage AG pieces are larger and more realistic.)
Awe, thanks so much! I agree, the vintage pieces are sometimes more realistic 🥰
This was such a fun video. I hope you and your family are having a safe and happy Christmas.
@@nanasewdear thank you and the same lovely wishes back to you 🥰🎄
You have a wonderful collection!! It must bring you so much joy! I have a few of the same decorations that you have, but only a few. I have been collecting dolls since 2009, but it was mostly just to play with my daughter and to sew clothes for them. I didn’t really start to collect decor for them until more recently, like 2015.
Do you keep your dollhouse trees decorated and store them that way or decorate them each year? I find it interesting how many people do either one or the other. I decorate mine each year. I’m always buying a new tree skirt or a topper and some new ornaments, so I want to redecorate it. I’ve also gone through many trees. We used to decorate a 3 foot tree, then I started buying them smaller and smaller to actually fit in my dollhouse (PAX wardrobes). My current tree is one I made. I followed a tutorial and used those packages of tree looking pipe cleaners that were like 15” long. You used to be able to get them easily at Joann’s or Michaels. I haven’t seen them in a couple years though.
Just the last couple years I’ve been working on building up my dollhouse decor. It’s amazing how fast it grows!
Awe- thank you and yes, I get so much joy for my collection. Sometimes I go into my doll room and I wish I had cameras around or I could easily set them up because sometimes I just wanna sit in there and look at my stuff and have conversation with the camera lol. I feel like those moments would make really good videos. That is something I’m going to try to figure out how to do because it’s so much fun talking about our doll stuff and sharing it with others even if you can’t do it in person. By the way, you mentioned sewing and I love seeing all your wonderful doll clothes! Your Instagram posts are so much fun and I enjoyed you participating in the color wheel series. I have an idea for another series and I’m considering doing it once a month since every week is too much. My idea will be to include subscribers to participate as well and post a schedule sometime this month on what I’m thinking about. Stay tuned for more on that.
Like you, I decorate my doll houses each year. I like to take everything off the trees and pack it away nicely. Part of the fun is taking out all my decorations and redoing the whole Holiday dollhouse decorating extravaganza. I think it’s so cool that you made your own Christmas tree - yay you! You’re absolutely right dollhouse decorations grow at a crazy rate ☺️
Hobby Lobby has pretty much had most Christmas stuff on sale for 40% or 50% off the whole season. Prices are so high now (as marked on package) that it's the usual increase with the discount. They will probably go to 70% off after Christmas. I've either seen or bought most of the stuff you have in your totes. The only thing that I noticed that I haven't seen was in tote #4. Those small round Santa ornaments. Those are cute and if I ever see them I will buy them. I have seen them for Halloween but they are pumpkin jingle bells. One thing I do have they you either don't collect or just aren't showing is the holiday string lights. I buy those to decorate the rooms and have every holiday. Last year (haven't shopped to much this year so don't know) Michaels had a ton of different ones and I picked up nutcrackers and a couple of other different ones that were new. P.S. I also bought those Target Wondershop ornaments last year because they had colors I wanted like blue, silver and white. They aren't $3 now, they were $7.99 a box.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the unboxing! It’s always fun to learn what others are finding too 🥰 you are right about the discounts - can’t beat them! Yes, I have another bucket of lights - SO many string lights, all different colors!!
