Anytime I get the blues or get down I listen to this song. In life you gotta keep on running, and it always gets better with time. No matter how crappy shit is at the moment you gotta keep on running!
I grew up in San Jose and we saw the band every year at Great America, SJ county fair or downtown SJ. Saw them at Civic Center with Twisted Sister and Lita Ford. This band was definately a part of my youth!
The 80's were about so much fun and not this "life sucks" bullshit of today. I wa part of the whole LA Metal scene and to see bands like Poison, Warrant, Ratt and others go from obscurity to wolrd wide fame was surreal! I miss it!
Like Cheap Trick, Japanese fans know a kickass live band when they hear one. No shortage of Y&T fans there. Should have been selling out arenas in the states in the 80's. In fact, those 2 would have been a decent bill.
Great live band. I saw em' open for Rush in '84. I remember seeing the show this footage is from on MTV back in the day. What I don't understand, is why in the hell is this not out on DVD yet. THis is one of many great shows from the 80s that need the DVD treatment.
My only time live was @the Provindence Civic Center in RI ,Thinking I was mayb 19 mayb 20 ...they opened for Motley Crue ,one of the best shows I've ever seen worth the ticket showin my age ,but, I think we still rock better than than youngblood.thanx tube on.
Be sure to check out the Y&T website as they're starting to tour again and putting out albums here once again too. As a lifetime fan of Y&T since I was conceived, just remember "ROCK AND ROLL IS GONNA' SAVE THE WORLD!"
I agree they were nuts one of the best shows Ive ever seen you were there you saw the whole thing ..me too from what can remember HAHA xlnt tube on. tube back if you want we're on the same page nice thank you.
I remember they made a Dr. Pepper commerical with this song in the 80s! I knew I liked Dr. Pepper for a good reason!! "Hold out for the out of the ordinary. Hold out for Dr. Pepper (singing)."
