They never seem to put all the best features into one reel.
Next year will be another n'zon reel with EVA handles, the year after metal line clip, then year after QD spool.
Just make an LT version of the TDR, that's all we want.

      Hello Alex.
Yes admittedly the way he was pouring what would of certainly been fairy liquid directly onto the spool is not at all the best practice. He was using monofilament and I have a tiny old medication container with some in and at the start of each session I put some on my fingertips and reel back in with my fingertips lightly coating the line as it makes your line sink very very quickly especially at long distances and it doesn't effect or harm the line in any way at all. I use Maxima and have never had any problems at all and definitely helped me with sinking my line alot quicker. Tight lines 👍

      @@myke.h2913 Hello Myke. H
I can assure you that it doesn't rot Maxima chameleon line nor Daiwa sensor (which only is used for snaggey pegs) so I'm interested in what line you have found does this?¿.. . . .
      Tight lines 👍

@@neilwatt5497 I stopped using liquid soap when my line started snapping some time ago thinking it was a bad batch I used Drennan instead and ended up with the same result. Since I stopped the practice I have had no issues certainly this has been going on for decades it would be interesting to see what others have experienced.

Jesus Daiwa are taking the piss. This rod is EXACTLY the same as my tournament long distance off 8 year ago. The tackle industry, on a whole, need to give their heads a shake
