Exactly and that is why you see a lot of black people working at Walmart cuz whites don't want to work for these small wages. And if we stopped working there it'll just be a bunch of Hispanics and half of them won't speak English to help you out so there goes the customer service and the stores will just go down the chute. But black Republicans was just laughing when Trump said I got some black jobs for you! 😱

Philip you are exactly correct on this one... in the past qualified black applicants were not hired .... affirmative action was created by Richard Nixon as a remedy to what at that time was current discrimination.... if a company refused to hire a Black MBA for a job but picked a white High School graduate for a job that required an MBA then paid his college expenses to bring him up to the MBA while simultaneously denying the Black MBA the job he was qualified for, then the remedy was to make that company hire him for the next open position and pay him back wages... everyone agreed this was justified for the individual discriminated against. But it then got coopted to be a quota system for white upper middle class women.
    And the backlash began.

Too many black women were hired for jobs and to turn around to look down on blk men was disloyal! Black women thought they made it to white people status even though many of them were not talented to hold that job! This election proved to blk women that they have been played! We tried to tell ya!!!! Only going to get worst. People complaining about how expensive items are, but I see us go to Walmart making purchases on Black Friday. This makes the rich even more richer, but then you have an issue with Walmart rolling back DEI. Well, the way I see it Walmart and other stores need us more than we need them. Exactly, observe the store if it’s not diversified then go somewhere else. Purchase what you need and not what you want. Save, Save and Save then Invest. You will not die if you decide not to buy a TV, purchase food and necessities only for a while. Go back to DVDs and/or VHSs and leave those streaming apps alone, pay 5.99 and up per month. Just because something doesn't help you, doesn't mean it can't hurt you. I completely agree, DEI did not benefit us the way it was intended. But after 30+ years in corporate America, I can guarantee those that choose to will ensure maximum impact to black employees. They can't use it to get rid of black leadership because they never used it in that way. It will be interesting to see how they roll it back and who it impacts. We know clear women will continue to be a staple in leadership teams everywhere.
