- As one of the authors of Behold Our God, it has been absolutely amazing to see how God has used the song. When we first wrote Behold Our God, we had no idea how far it would go and how many people would be blessed by it.
As I saw all the different versions of the song, I wanted to create an ultimate compilation of people singing Behold Our God. With that in mind, I chose 10 of the best renditions and put them into a single video.
The result is the ultimate compilation of Behold Our God, and includes the official lyric version, choir renditions, instrumental versions, and even a man singing it in Mandarin.
My hope is that the song Behold Our God blessed you deeply and causes you to worship God more passionately.

This song is a simple genius!
It’s modern and recent and yet it matches the qualities of fine and rich old hymns. I also love it’s coherence as you sing in a sense with self-reason, reflecting on God’s glory through rhetorical questions of who else other than God has/would/does…? With that thought in mind the logical response is worship Him.
Now think of the words of the UK’s consistent number one favourite hymn, How Great Thou Art, with its parallels. They both glorify God through the same reflection and reason and respond in praise of His greatness or sovereignty. They also move through the general revelation of God through His creation, but ULTIMATELY in the Person and finished works of the Lord Jesus on the Cross and in His ascension to His throne.
I treasure this gem of a song both in its rich music and it’s profound my comprehensible words. I believe it’ll endure the test of time.

Stephen (and all), thank you for allowing yourselves to be used by God to write this amazing praise to our amazing God. Our church choir sang it for Easter five years ago. I was so touched I downloaded their version to my tablet and phone and have played it for many others through these years. In my opinion, it is the best song our choir has ever done (and, no, I'm not in the choir). I still break into tears and raise my hands towards heaven when I play it for myself. I didn't realize the wide impact the song has had until I found this page. I can't wait to experience all of these. Thank you! Praise God!

Thanks so much for compilation. Didnt know there were more. If I may recommend to add the Fountainview Academy choir- had nice video choreograph, choir with full orchestra taking set in nature creating majestic stirs in the soul.
Love this song. So cool seeing all the different ways its been done, especially the choirs renditions when at the end the instruments stop and its just voices lifted up to God

This is wonderful, thank you so much! I must admit I prefer the full choir singing to the soloists, but it's all great.
I love them all, esp. CBU, but I was also impressed with all the vocal chords coloring in the acapella Baird, Altrogge version, that was quite amazing. I was President of my Concert Choir in HS, and a tenor in the top 20 voices Madrigals group, so that one really smote me too, ha!
I'm 30 minutes in and so far, every ensemble brings something beautiful to the mix, no doubt. The wonder of worship is in every face!
I really enjoyed this compilation--is there a list of credits as to who did each performance? Would like to check their othersongs from their repetoire. Especially the ones starting at the 40 minute mark.
