Their app is free & most of their offerings are available internationally. However, if you’re anything like me, you will not like the new stuff, the woke stuff. There is a lot of old stuff on there though & some may be new to you. But just like everything else, this whole progressive movement ruined BBC and others! imho 🙄 Happy hunting all the same. Cheers fr TN 😉
@@TedaR I've never been a fan of the woke stuff nor will be ever. Yes, I quite agree with you, but there's still a lot of good audio dramas on BBC Sounds like My Dad's Wardrobe, Time and Tides, just to name a few. Not quite fond of old audio dramas 'cause they haven't got the best sound quality, although I give them a listen or two off and on; they just time-travel me back to the times when I didn't even exist.😅
Fascinating. Would you happen to have (or be able to find) the BBC radio 3 (Drama on 3) adaptation of John Arden’s ‘Serjeant Musgrave’s Dance’? It was broadcast on December 14, 2003 and starred Iain Glen as Serjeant Musgrave. Thanks!
Sadly this is not Celia Johnson or Trevor Howard 😣 not the original cast and having watched and listened to the original I'm afraid there is no comparison .. but for people who don't know the original the story is good ..
Any new dramas from BBC Sounds for modern listeners as well, please?
