  • This metal dragon sculpture was one that I wanted to do for fun and also wanted to experiment with making a wearable art piece.

    For this metal art project I used tig welding(for joining), oxy acetylene cutting torch(for some heating and bending), and grinders and a dremel(for cutting, cleaning and the such). For parts I used various pieces of junk, such as chainsaw blades, old files and drill bits, mesh, cutlery, motorcycle chain, bicycle parts, and other pieces of trash.

    I like it. Very Targaryen. What type of wire/round bar do you use to create the rough shape of your sculptures?

    Marvelous piece. It's great to watch your selection process. Is it easier to tig weld than to mig it?

      @@bruisedreedstudio I guess I'm having issues learning mig especially different thicknesses.
