jizhu 记住 is a good word for practicing J versu ZH. with J you smile and lips are flat. with ZH you make your mouth round and stick both lips out. English doesn't really do that mouth position but if you get the mouth right the tongue part is easier. I find it works if i roll my tongue up like a tube and raise it for ZH but let it lie flat for J. This is in fact for anglophones a lot of work, because English doesn't really use the tongue or mouth positions used in Chinese Zh. Dolores is a WONDERFUL teacher but she's probably fully booked, maybe you can get an appointment if you ask her for lessons? 加油！
