Skater’s Waltz.. lots of memories. As a kid we skated at a mountain lake open to the public. Music, hot chocolate available, really great. When Skater’s Waltz played, my Dad would grab my hands and off we would go, as fast and smooth as we could be. He would be 102 this month, now always skating with me when I hear that music. 🥰

Love seeing all of your WIPs, Karen! I don’t have an exact number of how many stitched pieces I have out, but I’d say I have around 20-30 that are permanently on display, and then I change out my seasonal and holiday decor often. Right now with my winter display, I have maybe 10 stitched pieces on display. Winter is probably the season that I have the fewest stitched pieces for.
The owl is so beautiful and you hung it in the perfect spot! I'm also going to do Valentine's ornaments - I haven't started. I'll be kitting up and hopefully start next week. 🧵💖🎉

I loved hearing the story of your family having picnics at botanical gardens. I went and counted the cross-stitch on display in my house and came up with these totals: 19 of my designs that I stitched 5 of my designs that my husband stitched 20 that I stitched from other designers 6 that my husband stitched by other designers 4 stitched by others and gifted to us (I had to keep updating the numbers as I counted as I noticed ones that I missed.)

56 is the number of x-s, needlepoint, blackwork, embroidery, weaving, even knitting objects I have around my condo. I only put 😊away Christmas ornaments for safekeeping, but, everything else is on display or used. Great question. Love the music! Hi! Love your playing , so beautiful. And wips as well. But my your owl is fabulous ❤❤. I had to get up to count .lol I was surprised I had 30 out and 6 are seasonal and Christmas is put away. We have a very small home 970 sq ft so am pleased with the amount. Have a few more to finish and 1 large fullcoverage to get framed.
