I don't know what it is about this song specifically, but it is AMAZING. I mean, all the KH music is, but this one specifically is just absoloute amazingness. I've played piano for 8 years, and heard some pretty amazing songs. I even listen to music all the time. But nothing else I've heard even compares to this. I don't know why, but this one song just really stands out. It might have something to do with that I first played KH when I was 3, and even though I kind of forgot it, I still had memories of it, and when I played it again 10 years later it was AWESOME, but something about this one song...
BioGamers Same man I first played KH when I was 4 and everything stayed with me the characters, the music, and the plot which at the time I did not get, but when I played KH 2 I really started to pay attention and when I replayed it just recently I legitimately started to cry when the events had Roxas in them because I finally understood how sad his story truly was.
No matter if you're a beginner, if you think you can play this, then go ahead, believe you can. When i started piano I automatically chose To Zanarkand and learned the song for my recital. I was 12 at that time and I am 14 now.
@@nunyabusiness8498 Nah cause I'm a piano noob without patience so I've only practised mid level songs that mean something to me :/ Not saying this doesnt, it's just too hard
You know, this is with most Kingdom Hearts tracks in general They capture the mood PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Digital Domination gives you an upbeat techno tune perfect for the fast paced action that KH offers, The 13th delima captures the chaos and tension that comes when fighting someone like Siax, This captures the emotion and sadness of Roxas' story, if you've heard any version (but especially the original from KH 1) of Dearly Beloved I don't even need to say anything other than if you haven't LISTEN TO IT, and the orchestral remixes of the two main themes (Simple andClean and Passion) are just breathtaking. MAJOR thanks and congratulations to Yoko Shimomura for composing these amazing soundtracks
@7tonothing Check out the slow version, which fixes some of the errors in this video, if you're going to learn this piece. As someone already mentioned the A# needs to be an D at 0:24 and 0:32.
At 2:22 the left hand stretches from C2 to G3 so if that's not a stretch idk what is. Edit: Nevermind you can just play the top left hand note with your right hand I was too quick to judge. This piece is entirely playable.
KH, in there soundtrack, may have alot of songs that sound similar to someone who doesn't know the meaning behind them, but to me all these songs are unique and beautiful.
For all those people who say you need more fingers or another hand no you dont. When one blue part is long and another one is being played at the same time like at 3:11 the stretched notes only indicate that you must use the pedal of the piano, which keeps the sound of a past note going without keeping your hands there. Make sense now?
Well I say that don't let anyone stop you even if you are a beginner (and I am a beginner btw) if you want to play this song you could and the only way to accomplish it is practice this song and you will get it :)
@ePakamatches I use a Piano VST, so I can control how long the duration of the note is etc. Besides I can also edit the midi file to inlude sustain pedalling.
Some electric keyboards, like mine, don't have pedals. A piano has three pedals that you press down with your feet and they all do different things. But, as far as I know, the one on the right, the sustain pedal, is the one most used. It does what it sounds like it does, it allows you to press it down, play a note, and release the key while the note is still playing. Take a look at 1:06. What the bass is doing at that point would be difficult or even impossible to play without a pedal :)
@MissCaRoDu64 I would suggest using your thumb to play both D and E. Rotate the thumb slightly so it can hit both keys at the same time. But yeah, playing D,D or D,E is also an option.
Thanks God your here. I couldn't afford piano lessons when I was younger, so I learned some basics by myself and now im learning from you! I just want to say, Thank you so much!!! =D Btw, could you do "Night of Fate" from Kingdom hearts? It sounds really Epic, I saw Zorsy play it here on youtube. =D
How am i supposed to play the left hand around 2:28? I understand I would have to incorporate the pedal, but I still think it would be a bit difficult to make everything flow correctly.
@obligotoryoblivion I have one video with Battle with Gilgamesh that's called Clash on the big bridge, it's not the piano collections arrangement though.
@obligotoryoblivion It's the note farthest to the left, it's hit before the octave of A. The part before needs to be an octave of D and not A#+D. As you say yourself, you just hit the D octave, but the video shows no D octave :-)
@OmNomNommingOnSouls Yeah...... poor aqua... and Ventus.... and Terra T-T Aqua didn´t have such a big role in the beginning.... But i loved how she kicked ass like the badass character she is at the end XP
here's a something from DDD"To this end, Yen Sid has Riku bring his friend Kairi to him so she can be trained to wield the Keyblade she previously used during Kingdom Hearts II." see it counts since she welided a Keyblade
So I have pretty big hands and that left hand chord at 0:23 is huge as heck. Nearly impossible. I can do it. But I can't just stretch my hand out and play it and need to like do hand aerobics first haha. Damn piano collections
@MisterMoes oh cool XD I'll look at it now :) :O just remembered, I haven't much of the Scherzo Di Notte from the first kingdom hearts. They never did a piano collections and I've always wanted to hear full piano arrangement for it XD would be awesome!
I like this moreso than the original.... I know one guy was playing the original, so he couldn't do it as well as this, but still. :-P This one goes on my iPod. :D
@MisterMoes I don't see an A# at 0:24 or 0:32 are you talking about the octave of the A? I can play this piece on the piano and hopefully will be a soon to be uploaded one but to play those notes you just hit the D note octave and use the sustain pedal to keep the note while your pressing the A octave. I have the book aswell and that section is correct, sorry to say a tiny part of of one section is incorrect but still a brilliant video!
@Nerratadikichi It had to be the saddest game for me at the time, still is. As I find this music rather sad it reminds me of the tragedy's in BBS...I'm a bit too emotional if ya' ask me.
@OmNomNommingOnSouls ...... The sad thing is that i don´t have a PSP (T-T i´m gonna get it as soon as i can) so i haven´t played it, only watched the walkthrough. Though i´m still happy i did, since the story is reaaaaaaaaally epic to say the least :D
@ChristianPian1st There are already sheets for this peice. And the sheets were released quite some time ago, so in no way did he lower the chance of anything. -including the MiDi, MP3 etc...

BioGamers it's probably because of how powerful and emotional this song is
It’s really good. My favorite is the “Hikari” song from kingdom hearts though (can be found on synthesia too). It’s super hard though...
I swear, every time I hear this song, I want to cry
Marble Soda love how u say that with that amazing profile pic
same
I got so mad when I found out this wasn't an optional boss fight
when i hear this song i cry of the ptsd flashbacks i get fighting roxas
fun fact: it wasnt fun
I always cry when this plays during the Re:coded movie during the confrontation between Roxas and Sora
KnucklestheEcidna u cri evryteim
almost all the time. If i watch it from beginning to end.
+KnucklestheEcidna Dear Lord... But when you actually fight him on Re:Coded (DS) but the Roxas theme plays the whole time... 💧💧💧
Reilitas I say it's better to play the DS games rather than watching 3 hours of cutscenes for each.
@ISABELLA ABALOS emulators? Phones can handle the ds no problem, and you can use a ps3 controller

I think you more like 24 now 💀
@@BenDover-xx9rn damn im 22 also but cant play it
Ah, It was about time i learned how to play with my feet.
I mean some of the stuff if you have pedals you can just sustain. So yeah it's possible but hard to play.
Like you can sustain the sections where a chord is held in the melody but there is also a running scale over that chord.
@@nunyabusiness8498 Funny of you to assume I didn't mean that

I wanna cry, but the PTSD makes me have vietnam flashbacks of roxas absolutely killing me.
Yes, finally after 3 months of practise I can play the whole piece. still have a few slower part but I am so Happy.
hey do you have a link for the midi I cant find it :/
I listen to this while I work on my novel, usually when I'm writing something sad. I don't know why KH songs always make me so sad but they do.
you make a good other....
.............. Sora: "What happend" Goofy: "You just Vanished/Disappeared" Sora said quietly: "you make a good other"

When trying this on the piano... GOT IT MEMORIZED? (but I don't.)
it's not really that hard..
Roxiark That’s what they all say.
Thank for existing and giving us this awesome content!!!
13 years we waited for Kingdom Hearts 3,
7 games after Kingdom Hearts 2.

@lawlsitsmatt u can actually
during the parts where ur left has to stretch more than an octave, ur right hand fills in on
At 1:35 "You say you accept it? It's not a game! It's way past time that you learn WHAT REAL HURT FEELS LIKE!"
