      BeautybyBniecy How did it go? What did they ask you???

      Chloe Danielle they asked me almost everything you said in the video. I actually had to do an MMI interview and it went well. Basically , tell me about yourself? Why Pharmacy? Why this school? And the best part is they offered me an early decision admission. I’m so excited! I have to get my background check done through Pharmcas..... I’m on my way to greater things. Thanks so much for his video 👐🏾

      Congratulations!!! That is great to hear!! Welcome to the wonderful world of pharmacy. Be open to new areas when thinking of your career path going through school. Mine changed drastically with the exposure through school, conferences, networking, rotations and internships. Best of luck to you and congrats again!!!

      Maranatha Tago if you have any questions let me know! In a week I'll be done with my first semester, having much more insight to pharmacy school now than I did before. :)

    Hi Jenny, I will have my interview next Friday. I'm so nervous now. Can you advise me how many questions I should ask the interviewer?

    • @jljabben
      @jljabben  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tran Nguyen Congratulations and best of luck!! There’s not a wrong amount. Have a list of questions.. let the conversations flow but don’t force the questions unless prompted to do so. I was able to ask most of mine while conversing with interviewer and asked the remainder at the end. Most schools have multiple interviewers so fee free to mix it up or ask them the same questions to see how each answers. Definitely ask a few questions!!

    This is really great! Did you have to take the PCAT? If so, how did you prepare for it?

    • @jljabben
      @jljabben  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kari Mosbacher I did take the PCAT! I found the most useful thing was old prep books I got off Amazon for cheap and then the best thing I did was purchase pearsons quizzes. They were a great way to really test and time myself. I even had some of the exact questions arise in my pcat. When I took it I believe it was around $50 to get all the sections. I didn't do the writing ones because I felt as though I was prepared enough for them. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

      Thank you! I did take it and it went well! How far in advance did you turn in your applications for school and how many schools did you apply to?

    • @jljabben
      @jljabben  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kari Mosbacher I applied to several schools! I didn't want to limit the opportunities when it came to selecting the one I would end up at. Good luck with the application process and interviews!

    Hi,
    I want to write down the questions i want to ask them in a flashcard. do you think i can bring it in the interview with them?

    • @jljabben
      @jljabben  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ngoc Nguyen I actually took a padfolio into my interview. That way I could easily reference my notes, write down anything of importance during in between, and maintain my professionalism. I got mine at Office Depot for around $20. I take it to all of the conferences I go to now! Definitely worth the investment!
