    Being a pilot I'm sure you will appreciate the side wind control, close the side toward the wind and open the other side, this reduces fatigue in a heavy wind because steering input is reduced.

    The manufacturers must watch your videos. I just saw this and followed your links to Amazon. Both were $39, the Kiwi now has a banner across the page stating the packaging is updated and now includes hardware lol.

    The harley deflectors closed a lot better than your 2 test models.but cost much more.

    Ouch!! I wish I didn’t hear that 3 years ago price. $27 now up to $40. Still a good buy in my opinion. I like the solid black vs smoke as well.

    Your welcome! Check the axle nut covers if that's something you like. I think all those small details make the bike look finished. IMO Harley sells an unfinished product, even at the CVO level. Thanks for the videos!

    Estou testando uma Street Glide 2018 pra comprar, mas a turbulência no capacete me incomoda muito, mesmo com a bolha mais alta, quando passo de 100 por hora fica insuportável, você acha que esses defletores vão resolver meu problema?

      The Adventures of FPFD318 yeah I couldn’t figure out their pricing logic either - so I went back to the listing and read specifically that box includes only plastics , no hardware.

    Nice video, but what kind of wind protection did they give you? Did they block the wind off your legs. or did you barely even notice a difference? Also, when you open them up, did they perform like they weren't even there like before you put them on?

    I ordered ty PBYMT set last month and they haven't fixed the packaging issue. I had the same chips on the edges that yours had at 3:24. If you have vivid black touch up paint, you can repair that and it's not noticeable. I think the damage occurs from the way they're put in the box.

    So do they actually serve their purpose.. deflect the wind?

    • @HOLYSHIFT
      @HOLYSHIFT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very hard to feel the difference as for making the fairing bigger ! But what is very noticeable and effective is their use for directing air flow onto your body- when opened and in a hot day ! You can feel the air blowing on your upper body

  • @JohnGijbels

    No need to remove fairing for install, then this is just a bolt into plastic? Would have thought there is a nutt on the inside of fairing to tighten it up. Still thinking on getting the HD ones, but price is high!

    • @HOLYSHIFT
      @HOLYSHIFT  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      John Gijbels there actually are nuts buried inside the fairing and screwing in the bolts has to be done precisely. Still no need for removal of fairing
