Lyon, France Walkthrough 4K Part 1 of 2 | Traboules of Lyon, Vieux Lyon

I visited Lyon, France in February of 2024 with my wife and had a wonderful time. I show with maps some part of old town, where we were, and explored the hidden passage ways. I also randomly captured two young girls trying to pickpocket towards the end, which was something I saw for the first time, and I hope you all take care and be safe on your upcoming travels! Wonderful video:) We are visiting Paris and Lyon for a week each in September. I would have loved to have seen you both enjoy the bakeries and watched you guys enjoy a meal. Soooo yes, you have to definitely go back for another visit:) We are staying just a couple of minutes walk from the funicular leading to the cathedral so we will be in the hub of things. Frankly, I am more excited about Lyon as it seems nice and easy to get around. Thank you again for sharing. The video was great and the audio quality and content was awesome.

Nice video 😀. The pickpocket is very surprising. I live in old Lyon, I would point out that the BOULANGERIE that you say and show is not very good (the owner changed 1 year ago) but tourists don't realize it because they don't necessarily know how to recognize a good Boulangerie. THE new owner is above all a trader who wants to sell to tourists. THE best BOULANGERIE is in the ST Paul district of old Lyon. not very far: The Saint Paul bakery. Or the “PRALUS” patisserie which is 10 meters away.
Most restaurants in old Lyon are of average quality except 5 or 6 restaurants according to TripAdvisor.
It's the same thing in Paris (I lived there for 20 years), if you stay in very touristy areas, restaurants above all want to make money with average quality...
To find good restaurants you have to check professional reviews on the web. But I think you know that.🤗
