5:59 would you suggest taking the redemptions out of the one touch to submit to PSA? I was thinking of submitting the same way, but maybe they got irritated at having to take it out of the one touch… they do have a disclaimer not to sub in a one touch.
Don’t. They want card savers because a machine cuts it out so it’s not damaged like it could be if pulled out. Cards also move in one touches so they can actually get damaged during shipping.
Only advice would be to put cards in the Card Saver I as PSA suggests. Might help get a better grade vs sending them in the one touch. Might not help but only thoughts.
@skybcards same but I play by their rules submitted 25 downtowns and did pretty well. 14 tens and the rest 9s....including a cj 10. I'm concerned if I don't follow their rules my grades go down...but just a guess

Gunnar auto is a very nice card! I really like the Ohtani Marvels Diamonds! It really pops! Good submission! For a minute there I thought your grader was all about the 9s but at the end the 10s came out strong. Thanks for sharing as always!
Gunnar for sure. I have learned you have to clean up the cards that come from Panini in those mags. Kind of funny how the flawless cards are not graded flawless, lol
It looked to me like that Garrett Wilson had a pretty significant crease on the back of the card... running up from the bottom middle. Anytime you have a card that's sent to you from a card company sealed in a one-touch, and you're wanting to send off to PSA, you really need to take it out and look it over. If you're just looking to sell it raw, by all means... keep it sealed. But, Panini (or Leaf, especially) doesn't always seal cards up in a "PSA ready" state. They don't usually have creases, but I have seen sealed up cards that have fingerprints on them.
I feel like the bigger the card the more lenient the grade TBH. I had 3 CJ Stroud's go in for grading and the the base rookies were an 8.5 for the Prizm, 9 for the Donruss but a 10 on the Variation no-huddle.

Appreciate it man! Yeah there was definitely some rough patch in there😂 as far as grading goes, it really just depends what you’re purposes. If you’re looking to resell the card, then you have to be more selective and do your research on what the card sells for, and also you want to check condition obviously to. But if you just wanna grade some cards to throw in the PC you can just grade whatever without worrying about too much
I’ve learned that the leaf stuff you gotta stay away from the colored backs for submitting. They often don’t grade well. White backs is what grades best

My favorite was probably the Crosby cause I been wanting one of his autos for a while now. I just did my first grading submission, trying out CGC since I like the way their slabs look and it's only 10.80 per card.
I like the Brunson, Edwards, and Wemby. Wemby upside is undeniable but it reflects in his prices. Side note the ultimate buy low that no one wants right now is Trae young! Had a career year numbers wise! Just needs a team or some talent around him. Prob the most underrated facilitator in the league averaging 10+ assists per game.
You have how many hands touching those cards before they come from Panini. Always take them out of the one touch and wipe down before sending. Not bad sub

Why grade the auto? I never really see it increase value, but more often see it lose value with a 9 or less. Personally, feel its better to just grade the card, but interested to hear why you did both.

On the lil baby you can see the bottom of the “L” just microscopically goes off sticker on left= -1, and the second L same thing but on the top which is -1 so that’s the 8. Gorman no idea why 9 looked clean.
@@skybcards reholder also regarding leaf I submit a fair amount of leaf/Wild card. 2 things 1. I do think leafs quality has gone down this year. If you look up the leaf pro set metal cards this year , the XRc’s almost all are peeling on the back. Which is an automatic 5-6, but having said that I think PSA just shits on leaf and wildcard to begin with. A year ago if you subbed them they’d be 80% 10’s. Now they are 80% 8-9. Forget about 1/1 you are pretty much guaranteed a 9 max except for the very rare 10

I would always crack those one touches and clean the card myself. Panini does not care one bit. I bet if you cracked some of those, cleaned them, you would get some 10s

That 6 on your Wilson should be co sidered damaged and you might be able to contact Panini. Topps honors any card that gets less than an 8, I’m currently dealing with them now on a huge card.

For reference on the Leaf products. I got 4 9 grade Anime nations, 62 were given 9s and only 5 Gems

I have graded a ton of the CMC donruss rookies, maybe 40 at this point. Not a single 10. Almost all have been a psa 9 but I also got two 8.5s
I liked the Gunner and the Wemby blue graded 10. For the first time I sent a few to grade. Now I’m nervous about the grade that they will be getting.
