Crippled veteran here. I would love to get to watch videos on survival mastery. I broke my neck 6 years ago and was paralyzed but I walked it off. It happened as a civilian. Is there any way for poor people to get in there? It's $180 for a year and I will have to save up for that.

@@stevenrandall9851 As disabled veterans we can get breaks on state and national parks. Some have passes and some states will give you a hunting and fishing license at no cost or a greatly reduced rate. Just check what is available in your state.

@@stevenrandall9851 Thank You Sir for Your Service. I hope your VA is better than mine (NC), mean staff. I agree about the money. Veterans should get 50% off

@@shadygremlin9702 I understand that it's a business venture and it's in it's infancy. The beginning of any business goes through a period of not being profitable in the beginning. Veterans discount will probably happen later after it's profitable. Actually if all the veterans chipped in a dollar we could crowd fund our subscriptions and not impact the profit margin of a business venture that is still in it's burn stage.

Thank you for teaching these skills. My brother used to squirrel hunt. We saw one up a tree on the walk home from school. He had me stand at the bottom of the tree while he rad home (100 yards) to get his bb gun and get back. The squirrel stayed up the tree. There were no trees within jumping distance. Bro came back, and we had squirrel for supper.

Looks a lot like the Ithaca Guns Air Force Pilot survival weapon. That had a 14" barrel making it an NSA firearm. I got to handle one years ago. They were issued as .22 Hornet and .410. That firearm appears to have massive breech! Great explanation on one way o hun squires. I often hunted with a .420 in the beginning go the season (Oct.1) by going to the areas where squirrels are cuttting nuts in groups of 3-4 when the leaves were still on the black walnuts, butternuts, oaks, and hickories. A single shot .410 shotgun with #4 shot was great. Ths squirrels were easily killed with 2-3 pelets in critical areas. I could bag my daily limit (6) in an hour by carefully creeping fairly silently through the woods. The squiirrrels were in a frenzy gathering nuts. Thanks for sharing your experience.

The only animals you can hunt here are classified as pests EG rats and rabbits on arable farms. I used to have an air rifle that was extremely accurate. and I had a grouping so small with it at 22 yards at the indoor range that there would only be about a 3/8 hole for 5 off .22 pellets. It was my ratting and rabbiting gun. I just wish a firearms licence was easier to get here but to even get the target specials (22LR necked down to .177) takes about a bazillion checks.I got offered 5 times what I paid for it by a farmer. So in England you can't hunt squirrels other than in very specific places, and then you need a permit. Just thought you might find that interesting.

Oh No!! Sunday morning, outside on my patio having a cup of coffee and feeding a family of squirrels who come out of the bush for their breakfast. I come inside to watch Corporals Corner and the segment is how to cook a squirrel. LOL. My grandchildren love the squirrels and even have names for them. I'd eat them too if there was no other food available, but that ain't happening soon in this day and age. One tip though, I've cooked many camp meals wrapped in tin foil. I layer the first foil wrap around the food, then I second wrap it with wet newspaper, then I wrap this with another foil wrap. Cooks longer and partially steams the food at the same time.
