I must be about the same age, because I remember all the mothers coming to our school to pick-up their kids. I was in 3rd grade. I still remember watching the whole thing all weekend through thanksgivings. Back when we were all Americas.
Hi again. After numerous interruptions, l just finished watching. Thanks for explaining about Gizmo and the lights. I was one of the concerned. Glad he is ok.
My first car was a 1962 Chevy Nova, light blue. I love the flowers in The Villages at the entrances to each village and on the round abouts! It makes our community look so beautiful!
Another great video. Thank you! I saw Linda at Bargains & Treasures but didn't want to interrupt her flow. She was hustling!!! What a wonderful volunteer.
First car was a Ford Pinto, followed by a Torino that caught on fire in a Church parking lot! Spontaneous gas line leak ignited. Several College text books were in the back seat and I scrambled to save them (I did). A no no, in hindsight. * Live and learn! Wishing you a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
I really don't understand wanting more square footage as you get older if you relocate. Who wants to maintain all the extra space? Besides you can only be in one room at a time, right? I have started doing some Swedish Death cleaning and having less is more. I'm thinking ahead of the burden for family that has to deal with all of your things.
I don't think people want more, but it's hard to go to a smaller home. Our former home was 5700 sq ft. There is no way we want to go down to a 2000 sq ft home. Seems silly to downsize into a smaller home than what we want just because. No need to worry about other families "burden".....
Thank you for posting our photo in the shout outs. We are very excited to build a home in The Villages and are looking forward to meeting you both someday. We've been watching since January 2019 and your videos were instrumental in our decision to retire in The Villages in 2023. My first car was a 1974 orange Pinto hatchback, purchased for $750. That's how much tires cost nowadays. :) Happy birthday Jerry and thank you for the phone call, very cool.
Hello again, Randall here. My first car was a used 1980 Renault LeCar Black Beauty edition, my second car was a used1982 Renault LeCar Sport LOL. Why, because I love the LeCar. I still have the 1982 LeCar, though I have decided to let it go. I like fun sporty cars. My dad had a 1965 Buick Skylark convertible, red with black top and a 4spd manual. If he had given me that car instead of my brother I would still have it. Fun to drive doesn't need to be super fast. I could enjoy a golf cart, if it turns well. My friends would joke that a LeCar is not faster than a golf cart LOL. Nice to hear more of the car scene in the Villages. I had asked about it in a comment and you responded. Appreciate all you guys are doing on the channel. Very entertaining. I bet Jerry and Linda would enjoy a convertible. You guys could go get some ice cream during the cooler evenings and ride with the wind in your hair. You can get that experience in the golf cart too, I guess. LOL Oh well Enjoy!
Tee spring for shirts. Very kind of you to assist those who recently lost their mother. It’s a daunting task. I did it when my father passed when I was 20 and when my mother passed 26 years later. The rat was probably ill. They do make terrific pets. Very smart. They aren’t for everyone, however. My first car was a 1966 Ford Mustang. My hubby had a Chevy Biscayne. Thanks again for another great Monday. I sent you a cute joke via email.
There is a formally organized group in my retirement community (sanctioned by management) that offers to conduct estate/moving sales for our residents. The resident or family can first pick out what they want to keep, and we clean, organize, and sell what's left. The proceeds are split between the resident/family and the community activity fund. It makes it so easy on the bereaved (often distant) families and on residents who just need to move from their home over to assisted living or nursing home.
My 1st car was a new 1973 Toyota Corolla, and my husband's 1st car purchased before he even had his license was a1952 Austin Healey special 300 with a Buick V6 engine and an all aluminum body he bought for $500. He wishes he kept that car because it's Oh well easy come easy go.
Hi you two. Many of the clubs here order from Custom Apparel, 3451 Wedgwood Lane, Southern Trace Plaza on 466. They are reasonable and do a great job. You can buy a shirt there or bring a shirt in and they will put a logo on it. They also have lots of other items you can put your logo on. Thanks for the video!
Thanks Jerry and Linda, always enjoy Mondays and Thursdays, the shows are always interesting, first car, used, 1957 Chevy Belair, and first new car 1970 Ford Maverick 😁
Love you three sooooo much! My husband and I watch all the time! My first car was a ‘76 Oldsmobile Cutlass! As far as your lighting, there are lights available on Amazon called “Ring Lights”. They are made for exactly what you are doing, are fairly inexpensive and use low levels of electricity and do not radiate as much heat as the clip on halogen lighting. Hope thy helps! Love you all!❤️
Loved hearing about your former autos! My second car in high school was a 1960 Chevy Biscayne with no radio and the heater deleted (not uncommon at the time for budget models sold in FL. Not exactly a chick magnet....!
Thanks you gals for another interesting video! TV has a club that helps with learning about the use of your cellphone. Resident Academy is a must do for all residents.
First car.... 1961 Chevrolet Impala 4 door. It was my grandfather's and it was handed down to me. We had our car window wipers break once and my husband, who is a mechanical engineer, rigged up the wipers on cord/string which brought the string into the car. I was pulling on this string to move the wipers back in forth.. raining like crazy. It was crazy how he rigged that up but it worked and I got a arm workout for sure.
I don't think so. My first car was a 1969 Corolla. I think the Corona was a step up from the Corolla. My Corolla had a failing cooling system and I had to pull over to the side of the road, shut the engine off and let it cool down, quite often.
Another couple of things we have in common Jerry - I also bought a red Chevy Biscayne for my first car - but mine was a bit newer (1966). Everyone called it a boat. Huge. And I also was in grade 3 on Nov 22, 1963 when Kennedy was shot. I even remember when our class was interrupted to tell everyone what happened. And I live in Canada. I would guess, Jerry, that you were born in 1954?
I closed and moved into my new home before I put my old house on the market. My real estate agent said I needed to clear out the house because of my kitty. Five days after my house was listed, it was under contract .
Another great mailbag Monday!!!! Sorry you lost some info😢 Our plans to move there keep getting delayed😞. Must not be the right time for us yet- until then we continue to get great info from you!!!
Good to see you this morning.
RIP flowers
You guys are wonderful. You should have your own show on Netflix.

My first car was a ‘65 Mustang. I loved that car! 🤗
Sweet, sweet ride! 😁😁😁
My dad was working at FORD in Detroit when I was born in 1959!
I am so social. I really think I will have a blast one day living in The Villages.
I am pretty sure that you are correct!😁😁
Good show kids……… have a good holiday. See you next Monday.
1973 Buick Centurion that i got for my high school graduation that died after two good years.
Happy birthday Jerry!

My first car was a 1970 Datsun B210. It was turquoise. My Dad helped me find it.
That's awesome your helping people with this ladies things to others whom can use them.
Love watching your shows! Hi Gizmo! Such a cutie!
My first car was a 1962 Chevy Nova, light blue. I love the flowers in The Villages at the entrances to each village and on the round abouts! It makes our community look so beautiful!
My friend had one of those! I know exactly what it looked like! 😁😁

Here’s one for Gizmo: How does Moses make his coffee? Hebrews it!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

sorry ... Moses doesn't drink coffee .. it's not kosher
Great show 👏👏👏Gizmo always brightens my Monday mornings with his hilarious jokes😂🐾😂🐾😂🐾
Thank you Gizmo for plugging fire hydrants.

First car was a Ford Pinto, followed by a Torino that caught on fire in a Church parking lot! Spontaneous gas line leak ignited. Several College text books were in the back seat and I scrambled to save them (I did). A no no, in hindsight.

I like the the birds legs in the background Jerry .😂. They remind me of yours . 😂🤣

Classic!
And that wraps up another great Mailbag Monday!
I also had a 1968 plymouth satellite bought in 1968 when I came home from Vietnam
Great car! LOVED mine!

Yes! We had a Jeep back in Indiana... took the top and doors off in April and they stayed off until November!
Prayers for Pauline's family and friends.
I am now anxiously waiting for all your videos…best winter getaways were in The Villages.

Tee Spring delivers so fast we gotta have those beautiful shirts especially around Christmas
Custom Apparel in Southern Trace would be a very good place for your shirts to be offered.
My first car was a 1969 Fiat 124 sport coupe, there’s a reason they nicknamed the maker as Fix It Again Tony.
