this is quite an incredible model you've made also a vary nice touching tribute to jerry joe jacobson (he is the one who made the 6325's return to steam possible) can't wait for the 261 (and also glad to see that santa fe 3751 is on the project list i find it one of the underrated steam excursion engine stars that may sound silly of me to say i know it always draws a crowd i think it's not talked about vary much these day's as it was before but i find it unique as it's one of the oldest northern engines built and is still running i think i put it in my top few favorite northern type engines 611 and 261 have always been my favorite two northern type engines and i'd guess i would put the 3751 in the list as well)

I am looking forward to Milwaukee Road 261. I would not even surprised if it was released in July since she and 844 will be 75 this year. In fact I would not also be surprised if 844 was released on December 24, since she was completed and delivered that day.
@@Jello12It all depends on how the rest of the year goes. There is ALOT of work to do with the 261, C&O 490 and A&WP 290. I wouldn't be surprised if 844 is the first item of next year if anything.

America's own Lima Locomotive Works designed the USATC S160, which was distributed to the Koreas, Africa, Europe, and the Alaskan Railroad. Such a mass production leaves so much lingering around, but most were retired after the Cold War. They were used in the peak of WWII by all these countries involved, and most still run today. Specifically, make the Alaskan Railroad and/or British variants. The British variants will be a challenge, because I've seen you have never built one of those before.

i'm just wondering can you guys make grand trunk western k-4-a 4-6-2 number 5629 that pulled excursion and pulled the great circus train 2 versions, grand trunk western version 1 & version 2 the great circus train look up the grand trunk western 5629 on google.
They need to make a version for Mac that I can use first. No sense or possible way to model for a game I can't even use. The day they make a mac version, you'll see me consider it.
@@PowerTrain611 I wouldn't count on that. They've contacted me directly in the past and I've expressed my interest if a mac version was made. But it seems they'd rather stick with Windows.

Sometimes the old school guys have ideas, and will NOT deviate, it takes a new fresh set of eyes to see the potential for expansion.

I’ve been watching these promo videos, and I’ve noticed something; when I download these engines they perform great, but the whistle loop always seems to be off. Like if you hold it for a few seconds there’s a cut in the sound, but it sounds perfect on here. Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting I need to change?
There are a ton of variables that come into play with the whistles in this game. At one point, it varied from game to game, and whether you used mac or pc. They just behaved differently. The mac version always seemed to work better, which is what I used for all of my videos up until last year. There is definitely a pop from time to time, but depending on the angle you face the train, sometimes it just doesn't do it. I also tend to use whistle triggers on the track, which does change a bit of the performance of the whistle. I've shot a number of scene multiple times to get it where the game decided to not pop the whistle. It's sort of a 50/50 it'll do it, or it won't.
@@KLTrainz I see, I’d like to switch over to Mac so it works better but I’m not that familiar with their OS, I have noticed that your newer models tend to have the whistle problem less often than the older ones like the Hudson
@@FTBFHRITP The gap pop that happens on some of the older models is because one of the files isn't long enough. The game pitches the sounds up by speeding them up to simulate the doppler effect, and by doing so, the whistle start file ends up being a bit too short for the loop file to transition in. Eventually I have to go back and edit all of the older models and fix the whistle length. It was never an issue originally when they were released, but overtime the game has changed where it did become a problem.
This is just an offer. You can use my whistle sounds I recorded from 261. I’ve got a recording of it idling which you could use as well. I’ve got recordings of both whistles and its horn.
Workshopz 2019 I made freeware already. I have to make money because I spend hundreds of dollars of my own money to make these. Enjoy the promos, they costs hundreds of dollars also to make in order to hire narrators.
sorry to bother you there is another steam locomotive at the reading and northern railroad they have a 4-6-0 locomotive number 225 it was known as number 1098 for the canadian pacific railroad and was bought by steamtown and number 1098 was sold to the reading and northern railroad and renumbered as 225 on display for the railroad you can make the engine and the 4-6-2 number 425 for your website it's cool and one more your videos are amazing and i love the way you make the steam locomotives everyone loves your channel and i love your channel
