Awesome video Paul! Can you nightfish this venue? This is probably the closest venue you’ve fished at near where I live in New Mexico
Day fishing only
@@CanadianCarpinHolidays thank you Paul. I have some serious traveling to do. It’s crazy how carp fishing venues are so few and far between out here. Where I used to live in the uk there were several lakes and gravel pits in my area that were all within a 15-20 minute drive. Out here, in New Mexico, the closest place is like a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive. I fished there last year. A place called heron lake. I had one common which was probably 8lb. Nobody goes there for carp. I wasn’t even trying for carp. I just need to do more research and see what I can find that’s remotely close to where I live.
Insane 71 lb Buffalo! Congrats on your PB, a bucket list fish for me someday 🎣👍
Fingers crossed!

Thanks man
Thought it was a off coloured carp at first
Haha yes do look like carp that's why we fish for them.
Strange how they look like carp but are not related.
Yes Paul, Buffalo are sometimes referred to as 'buffalo carp' to the chagrin of biologists. Buffalo and carp are not even closely related. Both species of buffalo are sucker species.
@@CanadianCarpinHolidays You have a sucker fish that looks like our barbel here in the uk look nice fish.
