Quick tip on cabinet cleaning: Do a wipe down every time you clean your kitchen. It can be done while you're waiting on your sink to fillup or some other task. I spray my cabinets at the start of cleaning the kitchen and then wipe them down along with countertops and the fridge. It's definitely quicker. If I'm waiting on something to boil or something, I take that time to wipe down. The same for bathrooms. We do a quick wipedown after each use to include shower or bath. I keep the shower spray (Bleach and Dawn dish detergent w/ purified water) in the tub area so it's quicker to do. You can use a cleaning cloth or strong paper towels such as VIVA. I promise it helps keep down build up.

I use Greased Lightening degreaser. However, the Dawn Power Wash is my next favorite.
I LOVE white cabinets, because it brightens the kitchen and gives a neutral background. Plus, I like completely change my decor and a white kitchen allows me to do so beautifully. For example, from mid May to the end of August, I like to decorate with a crab, lobster and nautical theme. The red, navy and white is really nice. It works out well with the patriotic holidays. Feburary to May, I use a fiesta theme; giving a nod to Mardi Gras and Cinco de Mayo. Early Fall to February, I typically use a French cafe theme. It works well with Christmas holidays. I have decor stored in Rubbermaid bins and dinnerware to match each theme. It's a little work; but I love the changes. When, I don't physically feel up changing the kitchen theme it is "The Fruit of the Spirit."

I was just talking with my co workers, how funny it is that we all Only and clean behind our huge appliances Only when they are being serviced or replaced. BUTTTTT you my sister include that in a regular! Girl you do your thing, I seriously applaud you. You allow me to upgrade my cleaning, but I do not have the strength or motivation to move my larger appliances to do that clean. That job will just have to wait for when service or renewal happens then a sister go running to clean like it only matters then...lol😅🤣😂😂

Hi Tee! I love white cabinets. I agree with you, they keep everything light and bright. Dawn Powerwash does NOT play. Lol I have even used it on my upholstery, it works well. Your home is so beautiful. I love your style!

The girl watching this video makes someone want to get up and start cleaning a house I love your videos but I'ma hold off on that cleaning until the weekend. Because I worked in my yard all day and when I say all day I mean all day the front and the back yard so sore when I came at the house I had to go and take a hot bath with some Epsom salt just stopped my body from hurting all the bending and chopping and cutting I was doing. I do love white cabinets but was afraid of the dirt and not having time to keep them white white. My kids are active in sports so I didn’t think I would have time, but now hearing that they are easier than the dark wood, I am questioning my choice. But, I also love the dark brown cabinets.
Just wipe them down as needed or when you clean your kitchen.
@@athomewithtee that’s what I’ll do. I do the counters and the fridge when I wash dishes but I do the cabinets when I deep clean. But more frequently would be better

First, open your window a little. The tabs close to the ends just slide them both toward the middle and pull window down toward you. That’s it!

Hi Tee, I just wanted to ask you a question about the awesome cleaner. I used to use it when I had pets but I haven’t used it in years after I had kids because I was afraid of the chemicals that are in it as it could be harmful and toxic to the babies. I’m just wondering how you feel about it and I know you have a little one. I’m currently using stuff like vinegar water and essential oils to clean mostly but I also use dawn. I’m asking because I’m about to clean my dining room chairs they are nasty and I need something strong. My 2 year old climbs on the chairs and his face will most likely touch the surfaces. Love your videos and I’m a new subscriber to your channel.
Hey Gabriela! I would dilute it down with water in a carpet/upholstery cleaner. Or if you spray it directly onto your chairs, just go over it really well with a machine to clean it and pull it all out. I’m actually about to do this to my kitchen chairs in an upcoming video.
