Bijzondere setting. Het koraal komt prachtig uit in de lage tonen. De hoge tonen maken het geheel imponerend, onbeschrijflijk mooi en eerbiedig. Luister heel veel koraal muziek, maar deze blinkt uit boven alles. Klasse met eerbied!
Voor een Duitse BB vind ik dit een klasse-orkest. Van huis-uit zijn Duitsers denk ik niet zo "Brassbanderig", maar deze vertolking is "just fine, and to the point". Grüsse von ein Muziekfreund aus Holland.

@tongansaiyan At 1:44 there's a flugelhorn and cornet playing; in fact, I don't see or hear any trumpets. Trumpets have a much sharper 'bite' or 'edge' than cornets who in turn have a much sharper 'bite' or 'edge' than flugelhorns. Music like this sounds best with cornets and flugelhorns anyway. Pretty arrangement, nice 'sound', very well-played!
