I think there is some problem in moon and mercury. फिटकरी (Alum) is used for mercury not moon. A very powerful remedy for mercury problems is doing gargle of Alum mixed water. similarly rice is for moon not mercury problems

What is the duration that we need to do this remedy and in how many days does one see the results.
If you have 3 or more planetary conjuctions in certain house of ur natal chart it might take too long the process of remedy.
