Very interesting! Thank you, Niller, for the wonderful in-depth behind the scenes look!! We appreciate you taking the time. I’m hoping yall are bringing some of these new goodies and design ideas with yall this spring when Volbeat HEADLINES in the USA!! 🤞😃🙏
Seems old school to me if anything, software tracking with solutions like BlackTrax allows scale. Muse have used it for their last 2 major tours, one of which involved tracking and lighting 14 drones (Helium Filled Objects).
Wow nice - how much would it cost to run production for a night like this, load ins, labor, equipment hire etc? I'm guessing(without anything to go off) that'd it'd be between 200-500k right?
I see this video (haven't watched it completely yet, but what was different to this stage, compared to the show at Ziggodome Amsterdam, is the fact that this stage has the video screens in the back only, where the Amsterdam show had them moving above the stage. This was a special feature for Amsterdam? Or is it more like a gimmick that is used depending on load capacity of the roof at a venue?
Saw the show in Amsterdam a few months ago. Awesome show, though I don't like the video look that much. Did he want te keep the moving screens a secret? That was one of the major features of the show. And also the lights on the back of the screens when they turn around for one song....
I have a system this size in my room and i listen to music and make lighting shows. The sound system its overkill for the size of the hall and indoor event .
I don't get how bands can afford a large production like this while playing like 4,000 seat venues. Ticket prices must be ridiculous. That's not how to treat your fans.
Those new stages light and screen show I find it distracting from the music and band performance. It's too much. Makes sense for en electronic show but not sure for a band.

The man, the myth, the legend........Niller!!!!! MORE BLUE!!!!!
Looking good Niller and great work my friend!
Very good video. Lots of insite. I love their backstage area.
Ich war selber bei der Volbeat Tour dabei, finde es mega jetzt zu sehen wie die mega Show zu Stande kam!
Saw them in 2017 when they opened for metallica at rock on the range. One of my favorite shows
That follow me system is a huge game changer.

Great walk through.
What fixtures are you using in the trough? You didn't mention it.

Emiel Bart Unfortunately moving screens were not possible in Leipzig.
This is oddly an underwhelming setup. Thanks for sharing.

I like the looks on the stage, but not for Volbeat, it doesnt scream rock n roll to me. It would fit a band like KISS more imo...

Where they Play in a 4000 seats venue?

Volbeat Det er ikke værd at koste strøm på !
Vel er det så !
Worst "rockband" in Denmark.
