You are absolutely lovely! I couldn't remember certain specifics of this project and wanted to teach my daughter. This was a perfect refresher. You're a great teacher! Thank you!
Hey Loony! That was an amazing tutorial! It was very clear and thorough. You addressed every question that popped into my head while I was watching. Though I do have one question: Could you use a dowel or another piece of cardboard on the top of your weaving and slide it back and forth to help pack your weaving? I've been using a yarn needle to help me weave and it works really well!
Yes, you can do that as well! Personally don't use that method as my style tends to be tighter without it; but if it works for you, go for it! Thank you for the tip and kind words. Stay Loony, friend!
Great question! You can totally weave up against that edge, both if you like! If you do, think ahead on how you are going to finish the ends if you go that route. There is no wrong way as long as it holds up to use :)
Thanks this helped my sister

who else likes the catchphrase "that's ay-okay"?
Um, I was thinking... Excellent project for the MOM... 😆
.... I have... Several shoe boxes. They're currently holding yarns
All of the potential looms! :D
You can totally work over the top of your yarn if the box isn't too full. The box I'm currently using is the box holding my needle felting kit.

Is there any reason I would not want to start my weaving right down against the box edge? fill the box from bottom to top sort of deal.

You should be a tutor online for this😊
