There's been barbel too over 15lb out the soar mate. Nice video tho 👍

The official river Soar record is 13lb 10oz, but for some reason I thought is was just over 12lb, hence my comment on the video, it was near the record, which clearly it isn't, it's 2lb short! As with most river records, other larger fish have been caught, and either the angler didn't want to claim the record or didn't have the required proof e.g. an independent witness. Thanks for the info about barbel over 15lb being caught. 👍
