Corrections to Video:n the System on Module is called the Mixtile Core 3588E, not Mixtile 3588E. The Carrier Board is Leetop A206, not Leetop A505. Sorry for the confusion on my part.
Interesting. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the eMMC storage on this board, when you come to your final conclusions. I have always been sorely disappointed in eMMC performance in the past, and associate it with "cheapo " Netbooks of the past.
Is there a real need for this new device? even being better than a Pi 5 like can be seen, it lacks the userbase + example code and books, and being almost unknown, will it gain its place? I doubt it, what does not mean it shouldnt exist.
What kind of support are you looking for, as a maker, a developer? Its using out of the box ubuntu and they have great support for the OS. I've been using this type of board since 2015, the pi is way to slow for my needs, if they would put something together with more than 4 cores, I might look at the Pi.
For some reason the Khadas Vim 4 results didnt post, I tried multiple times, but it wont show up, so I will try again later and post those results with the update in 30 days

The music at the start is a bit load compared to your voice
Yeah it was much louder than usual, odd.
and at the end, maybe the beard has dulled his perception ...
Very. Too hot.
ya.. just review your vids audio before final upload... or edit and repost...
Load some bits
These things are progressing at quite a clip. I don't have the need for one at this time, but I'm impressed.
I would really like seeing it run LLAMA 2. How fast it is and what is the largest model it can run.

Hi Tony, will be evaluating the eMMC as well as the NVMe
I didn't even recognize you without the facial hair!
RC 3588 looks like a good processor. My Orange Pi 5 runs pretty fast.
Nice!
Hey! It’s Santa! :-)
🤣
On Donner...oh nvm
I am thinking about Radxa Rock 5 to be my next daily driver pc.

I was thinking in what children and newbies can find as support. Raspberry provides quite a lot of documentation and examples for use cases. Cheers!
I would fear that eMMC is too close to the CPU. I wonder if the heat may shorten the life of the eMMC.
I don't get why companies think that your viewers would replace their desktop with something that doesn't have ECC.
Why the beard DJ?
Hi johan, winter and it will be coming off soon, our summers here are way to hot to wear a beard.

I wish we were neighbors.
God I hate GNOME, especially since it used to be good!
framework laptop/desktop
Did you mean create a motherboard for the Framework laptop that can accept on of these modules? If so, that is an excellent idea!
Warning, this chip does NOT contain logic to scale down the frequency when the temperature reaches a predefined max value - as is in raspberry pi.
No, it will only do that if you set the scaling_governor to performance, otherwise use ondemand it will scale all day long.
