I love how he sings when he first enters as if to say I am Sherpa & I am here😊. He so politely checks out everything. He has such beautiful manners. I'm glad he found no ghosts. The fact that Sherpa and Jamie help, is an amazing thing. I hear you and empathize so much. If u ever need to talk, there are also some amazing people on here and there are a whole bunch of like minded people who have become really good friends. Imagine what it must have been like 300 years ago when it was a coaching inn ! The bar restaurant looked so cosy with the fire and nice pub grub too. I spotted a photo of Daphne du Maurier on the wall. Fascinating museum but those dummies always creep me out !
I'd love to see all these places as they were back in the day 🙂
Lol-They were unsettling indeed (as are most mannequins, especially in period costume) and I can't believe Sherpa kept his cool in the presence of such creepiness, but at least they were not animatronic.

Sherpa seems like a very patient boy, to me. He puts up with Jamie watching movies. He's well-behaved in the bar. And he enjoys sausages! Well done, you both. This was a joy and a pleasure to watch.

As an American it always amazes me all the places dogs are allowed (non-service dogs). Wish I could take my dog everywhere like that
Usually the dogs are much better behaved than kids.
Glad you can't because I am allergic. If you think Sherpa gets to go to a lot of places, wait until you see France. Doggie heaven. They were everywhere. I can be around them for a little while, but not long before the itching starts. And that tickle in the back of my throat.

Reminds when myself and my lass an 13 year old German Shepherd got stuck in hotel for a month after major flood damage to our place. I dig me heels in when housing insisted she goes else where "Where I go, she's goes I;m not sending her where I cant guarantee her care You can shove that. We got to know the staff very well , It became a shared role looking after my big bear, after her walk the staff would collect her around 8.30am to great the new check ins for the day. The guests loved it, thinking it was hotel's, She belongs to guy in room 4

Sherp is very well behaved when he is a public places, very calm; I like how he ask for permission to enter a place or waits until you give him the ok to proceed.

Oh wow! I loved that video about the area. It's a history museum with interesting artefacts and a hotel with dogs welcome. I always wanted to go to one of those murder weekends, where the guests plat play along- like a live version of playing Cluedo.

Watching on September 21 2024, 12:10 am, remembering Sherpa, and supporting Jamie. Sherpa checking in was the absolute best! Neat place to explore, but you'd never get me near that Ouija board! Sherpy was such a good boy, and enjoyed his sausages at the end. Rest In Peace sweet Sherpa- watch over Jamie until you two are reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🌈🌈

Wow, so much to see, so much interesting history. There's just something about old photographs and news articles that reels you in. Sherpa did not seem worried at all about meeting a ghost. (I do think your daughter laughs as much as her Dad. May be a bias, from my childhood, but will always be grateful my parents chose vacations that focused on visiting historical sites here in the U.S. Learning new things and having fun, well it's the perfect combo.)😉😊💙💙

Christy, we did the same as a family. We would even stop at old cemeteries to find deceased relatives as my mom is a Genealogist & Archivist in Colorado. Sometimes my summer vacation was spent in the library looking up family history. As a kid, I wasn't "fond" of it. Now I completely appreciate it. ❤

Jamaica Inn has a nice website, found out they are on Bowmin Moor, from which you've done other videos for us. Location is listed as Bolventor, Cornwall, England.
Sherpa is by far the best dog ever! So calm and well behaved, even when you were feeding him his sausages. Most endearing💜 of all are his 'hellos' everywhere he goes: aRoo oooo ooo! I'm like a few other people, though: creeped out by the wax figures and especially the eyes👀 of that one standing up, freaky! I was most interested in the Daphne du Maurier association to the inn. I have seen at least three movies based on her books: Jamaica Inn; Rebecca, my favorite, have seen it several times; and The Birds. I didn't realize Alfred Hitchcock had directed all three, though I did know that about The Birds, a more recent film. I used to watch all the old movies on the Classic movie channels.
Thanks, Jamie, for this tour of yet another historical site. I enjoyed looking at artifacts and memorabilia on display, especially Daphne du Maurier's desk and old typewriter. I learned to type on an old one, maybe not quite that old 🙂.
I only discovered Sherpa's merchandise yesterday on the regular channel and have already ordered the Sherpa ❤ tote bag, the Sherpa ❤ tshirt in purple, and the Sherpa ❤ sticker! Teespring is a good company; I've ordered from them before, and they usually ship pretty fast. Looking forward to sporting my new Sherpa ❤ items!! This is so exciting! That's something that I've always loved about the U.K. They have to be one of the most dog-friendly countries there is when it comes to hotels, bars, resturaunts, and just businesses in general. I don't think I ever saw a business over there that didn't allow your dog to come in with you when I was over visiting friends in Wales & relatives in Scotland just a few years back.
I did see an orb float by in your room. I seem to remember seeing a paranormal program and one of the places they investigated was the Jamica Inn. Looks like a very cozy and interesting Inn to visit. That breakfast looked sea salt good.

You raised and trained him so well! I watch K’eyush too love them both. Got a 9 month old Malamute pup and she is very smart and so easy compared to my Husky mix. Workin on it. We Love Sherpa!

I'm very surprised that you didn't yelp when a certain young lady was being sneaky sneaky trying to startle you. She will get you next time 😉 let's not forget how Sherpa was looking out for ghosties while portraying one himself.....cute, cute when you walked him late at night and he came up at you with glowing eyes....imagine if it was Batdog working his shift. I do want to add on how you captured the sunset as it was going into twilight..it was beautiful. The meals you had nearby the fireplace would have been very relaxing. One more was the building of where your room was, I almost thought you got lost trying to find it...good Sherpa was there to help 😊....it was educating and entertaining at the same time...thank you for your video on this sunny day (finally) here in the States ☺

I'm in Austin Texas and I can film anywhere I've tried it except my vet lol. He doesn't want his face on the internet lol which I respect. But his father is also a vet and when I posted him lol they said the place blew up and they had too many patients lol so I definitely don't post them anymore - gotta have availability for my pups too lol
