I would like you to start publishing really professional examples, not such as: _how to make the transition, how to change the color or how to export the project._ I want to use this editor for more serious work, but I can not because there is not enough information on how to work with this editor in a more professional way. Sorry for whining and complaints, but I'm a little disappointed with this editor. This is why I did not renewed my subscription for premium version.
That's why you pay a premium for high $$$$ products. VSDC will do the job when you can't pay for or justify paying for (hobbyist-beginner) top dollar for a product you use once in awhile. You can't get something for nothing.

I'm getting a weird click noise between scenes when I split my video into different parts. I tried "silence," but that didn't work. Will this take care of that?
3 years late but those clicks may have been the properties of the 'Silence'. Duration at the start or end can 'fade in' to silence rather than give immediate silence so you get milliseconds of the track before or after the mute kicks in. I thought I'd put that in (albeit extremely late) as i have used silence at the beginning or end of a long sequence but was getting the clicks (before a silent start or after a silence at the end) which was noticeable if the next scene was quiet.. There are a few sneaky settings that are given these smoothing type effects by default... Just check ALL the properties of an effect you add... there's some neat hidden features that can be annoying if you don't know they're there. I've used VSDC for all my videos since updates & bugs all but killed MS Video Editor for me (1st few videos in my channel).

Hi, I don't really get your threshold setting. The highest is 1 and lowest is 0. But is this based on db or is it a level (1 is 100 and 0 is 0)? The VSDC website isn't clear as well. I understand how audio compressor works but this setting is different from the ones that I am used to. Thanks x

That's the nature of audio and video editing. Waveforms and soundwaves are not simple. Noises are just frequencies, tuning them is as difficult as they are plentiful.
Can anybody please tell me how to get rid of background noise from a recording because I recorded a let's play and there's a lot of background noise from my computer in the background and I can't get rid of it so if anyone can please tell me how to do it I would really appreciate it cuz I've been trying to fix this for over a year I'm dyslexic I can't read anything and I'm just slowly learning how to do this so I would really appreciate it if someone could you know just show me how to do it

Hello, yes, it depends on a type of noise, we can only repeat the info from the video, the rest is quite specific, try playing with the settings.
