Hidlumane Falls | Raingasm Ride - Day 2 Part 1

- Hidlumane Falls is a series of 6 or 7 falls, each a beautiful sight in its own right. The interesting part about these falls is that each of these falls is hidden from one another and each seems to be more enthralling than the last one you see. We haven't read much about Hidlumane falls before we started here so we stopped at the 3rd sight and thought that was the actual Hidlumane falls. Nevertheless it was amazing water and amazing weather with pinch of rain we had the best fun soaking under the magnificent Hidlumane falls.
This beautiful Hidlumane waterfall is situated under the Shimoga district of Karnataka and is located within the Mookambika reserve forest at the base of the Kodachadri hills of the Western Ghats. It was about 10km from the place we stayed parvatha homestay, sampekatte.

Really natural nature video, I'm very jealous about that u are having tea while coming back, really that is most probably amazing feeling that u had ever while having tea I guess if I'm not wrong. Lust green throughout the trail, drizzling, mountains shrouded by the clouds and dense forest are testimony of Gods Own Creation. "LOVE YOU WESTERN GHATS".
I have included that frame just for that feel. After getting wet for hours, the hot tea is just out of the world!

Arun.. I don't know if you know this. But this info might be useful for others. You can reach the Hidlumane falls by Trekking from the Kodachadri hill top. It's around 4km trek. Take a jeep from Kollur and ask the driver to drop you to the peak for Sunrise. Then ask him to go back to town and come near the house(which can be seen in the beginning of this video). After watching the sunrise, start trekking towards the falls. You need to cross few hills and then you will reach the falls. Walk along the path and you will reach the house. And your driver wud be waiting there for you to pick you up.
