Fell in love with this show watching from Arizona. I had never seen anything like it before and when I discovered it was a Canadian sitcom I developed an appreciation for Canadian TV comedy witch is very different from American TV comedy. American comedy is too crass. Too salacious and politicized to the point that it's unfunny. Corner Gas was such a welcome change from American sitcoms; a total breath of fresh air. I love each of the characters and I became a hard core Dog River fan. I even wanted to travel up to Canada to check out Rouleau just to see the actual buildings. Also totally dig the animated series. Long live Corner Gas!!!
@fedodosto3162 I have seen the Red Green Show several times and he's good. Another Canadian show I truly loved in the 70s was SCTV! OMG I would laugh so hard. When I remember sketches like Perry Como Still Alive! and Monster Chiller Horror Theater they still make me smile. Comedy gold!
Hank is hilarious. I used to watch this show every time it came on TV when I was a kid. I saw Brent at his comedy show in 2018 and it was surreal! I actually recorded it on my phone so I could have the memory forever.
This is pure Canadiana at it's best (Grey Cup not withstanding) I stopped in and had a beer and a burger at the bar on Jan 4 2009 at 7:40 PM It was exactly like it is in the show. I left with a full belly and a tear in my eye. Love it!!! Brent's movie "No Clue" is good too! I highly recommend.
This is my favorite show, it's as funny as anything I've ever seen (I can't believe more people haven't heard of it). I predict that this show will experience a massive resurgence in popularity as streaming continues to make international shows more and more available. Discovering and watching Corner Gas was one of my Pandemic-Stay-At-Home coping activities. I recommend it to people all the time.
Doctor gave me these eye drops suppose to clear it up tastes lousy though Hank I think that's suppose to go in your eye Orange juice in my eye I don't think so

Let's get physical... No not right now...
Great show. Ooh, the women.
What episode is the one where Hank burps at the very end while standing with all the guys outside?
He finally slammed Wanda and didn't know it..
❤😊
I have a Timex watch that stopped running that Officer Pelly can take a look at.
oh that HANK...
Which episode was it when hank borrowed someones tv and tripped over a birdbath throwing the tv into a car window?
Lacy’s TV if I recall correctly. If I’m incorrect, it was Wanda’s.
Hilarious 😅
Is it me? Hank reminds me of Rader
Actually, part of the East Coast is on Newfoundland time - which would be 3 1/2 hours ahead.
Just sayin'...
