So. It's mid -August and over here on the West Coast, the Pink's are in Puget's Sound, on their way to their natal rivers and streams. September is prime time for Pink's here, too.
Quicker release and less handling if you want those fish to survive!.
When they spawn, they'll die, anyway, unlike Steelhead,Char, and Atlantic Salmon.

I'm in the same boat and was wondering the same thing.
@@stevechandler2043 we are going up mid September for 4 days. Kinda wanted to get a feel of the river before we go.
I'm going to call one of the bait shops and just ask.

@@kingsalmon5905 I talked to a guy that is a charter captain and fishes the run. He doesn't recommend using an anchor. Said you probably won't see it again if you do. He said you can drift and cast using your trolling motor to help slow you down, troll, or use a wall hook to tie off on the side of the power plant I believe. PM me and I'll send you a picture of the hook that he sent me. I've seen them tied to the building on TH-cam videos.
