I wonder if electron apps would be able to use this instead of packaging another instance of chromium inside their installers. That would heavily cut down on installer filesizes if they didn't need to have a ~50mb chromium package in every installer, while still getting the benefits of the nodejs platform. Hopefully this will also eventually lead to performance improvements in chromium itself. It's always a bit ridiculous just how much ram consumption there is when simply running stuff like Spotify, Skype, Discord, and VSCode or Atom.
