Great tutorial and very reassuring that you've done all the prep work for us. 😊 I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to use a gift card to make a template for the mitered corners? Well, I’m right with you this time. A couple of imperfections but for the most part, I think that the paper will cover it up. I only saw you putting the tape on the wrong side for the cover but it was probably just a happy accident.

I printed one set full size and one two to a page didn’t use it all it doesn’t use a lot of paper but I did pick certain parts to suit what I wanted x

We should not have to pay for the cutting guide.

You don’t have to :) you can spend a day designing your own.. another day making sure it fits together correctly so people don’t waste their supplies . Another day filming a tutorial and typing up instructions so others can make it without doing all the planning….. I have nearly 2 thousand videos and only three or four have cutting guides with very small cost. It helps me buy supplies to keep sharing tutorials x

You don’t ’have to’ it’s a choice.
Do you realise how much effort it takes to write the pattern for something like this?
It’s not quick, it can take hours and hours. Then the prototypes, the order of the instructions, the order the steps…I teach crafts and jewellery making, I spend a lot of time working out projects, making up kits, making several samples. Often I have to make samples at least a few weeks in advance so people can see what they can make
