During recording they just have to get her to keep singing until she gets it down or auto tune it afterwards but during live they can't do that. at least they give her something
Raina well I mean, an idol's main priority is lines. If you apply to become a dancer you would still get lines no matter what cause your still an idol. Even Jun from seventeen and th8 too, they're idols, they're dancers, and they're from a group that has 13 members. Yet they probably get more lines then chengxiao would ever get. If being a dancer has the excuse to have no lines then, wouldn't it be better to sign up to be a backup dancer instead of an idol? As for chengxiao her lines are barely even considered lines, they're more like chants.

The only songs that suit her natural voice which is softer is softer sounding songs which are different from the peppy songs that WJSN sings. If a person can't really sing, would you give them lines or just those small parts that are actually there just for filler? Because to be honest, for STARSHIP to even give her lines is something. Even during MOMOMO when she was just singing "mo mo mo" over and over again, Bona was put to sing the lines with her so Bona could help cover Cheng Xiao.
