Irrefutable that an increase in Co2 causes an increase in temperature, except between 1946-1974 when Co2 levels increased by 30ppm and temperature dropped. A 30-year period of cooling but no one seems to know why.
Its perhaps worth looking at this graph on climate.gv website (www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/climate-change-global-temperature) to see the pattern of change over the last 100 years. The period you mention seems to be a transitional period.
