As I remember my childhood, I always found happiness in the small things, especially during Christmas. The simple joy of receiving oranges, with their festive smell, always stuck with me. Now, I want to pass on this sense of joy to my son, Robert. He absolutely adores bananas! Since he loves sharing his snacks with his furry pal, Kobe, we've decided to give him bananas this Christmas. In this video, you'll see the special moment when Robert receives his favorite fruit as a holiday gift. It's all about celebrating the little joys and starting the tradition of appreciating life's simple pleasures from an early age.

We got tangerines or oranges, too. It’s a Christian tradition that goes back to the real St Nicholas. They represent the bags of gold he gave to three poor sisters to provide a dowry for them to be able to marry. Bananas are too funny! Love it!

So lovely to watch you pass on traditions to Robert, who willing shares his banana 🍌 windfall with Kobe. Robert where I grew up there was a small banana 🍌 tree patch at the end of my street. As kids we used to chase parrots 🦜 when the trees were flowering. I caught a parrot 🦜 one morning, it was none too happy and bit me. Robert, Kobe watch out for wild parrots 🦜 they’re tricky. ❤. When I was Roberts age, we had a huge yellow Labrador and Christmas was so special because of him. My favourite things at Christmas were the food and the relatives that came to see us . Our dog enjoyed that too.

My experience with Cavendish (standard grocery-store) bananas is that you want to wait until they have brown speckling on the skin before eating them, otherwise they still have a very strong "green" taste to them.
